Marvel’s ‘Agatha All Along’ Is Coming: Release Date, Cast, and Viewing Details
Agatha Harkness Returns in Her Spinoff ‘Agatha All Along’, Featuring Kathryn Hahn — Elizabeth Olsen Not Included.
Agatha Harkness is back in her own spinoff series, “Agatha All Along,” which takes place after the hit Marvel series “WandaVision.”
Following her encounter with the Scarlet Witch in “WandaVision,” Agatha is working on gathering a new coven while trying to lift a spell that holds her captive.
Kathryn Hahn reprises her role as Agatha Harkness.
However, Elizabeth Olsen, who portrayed Wanda Maximoff, or the Scarlet Witch, in “WandaVision,” is not listed among the cast for “Agatha All Along.” Olsen has represented the character since her first appearance during a post-credit scene in “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” back in 2014. She also returned in “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness,” set after “WandaVision.”
Here’s all you need to know about watching this wicked addition to the Marvel Universe, including its premiere date and weekly episode releases.
What Is the Storyline of ‘Agatha All Along’?
“Agatha All Along” begins when a teenager frees Agatha from a “distorted spell” and asks her to guide him through the Witches’ Road, described by Disney+ as “a magical gauntlet of trials that rewards a witch with what they’re lacking if they survive.”
The series showcases Agatha as she assembles a new coven and seeks to reclaim her former powers.
The teasers suggest that we meet Agatha at a point where Wanda has stripped her of her abilities.
In one preview from two months ago, Rio Vidal, portrayed by Aubrey Plaza, tells Agatha, “That witch is gone, leaving you trapped in her distorted spell.”

What Happened in ‘WandaVision’?
“WandaVision,” which debuted in 2021, focused on Wanda Maximoff, portrayed by Elizabeth Olsen, and her husband, Vision, played by Paul Bettany, in the aftermath of the Marvel film “Avengers: End Game.”
In the storyline, Wanda uses her magic to bring back Vision, who had died in “Avengers: Infinity War” after she returned from “The Blip.”
She casts a spell that erases the memories of everyone in the town of Westview. This attracts Agatha Harkness, an ancient witch who, in episode 7, reveals her plan to gain Wanda’s trust.
“Agatha All Along” is the song played during the montage after Agatha’s true identity is revealed.
Agatha reveals Wanda’s powers’ origins while seeking to take them for herself.
Eventually, an epic battle unfolds where the Scarlet Witch takes all of Agatha’s powers, trapping her in Westview and erasing her memory, forcing her into the role of “the nosy neighbor.”
