Week 10 Fantasy Football Rankings: 30 Players on the Rise and Fall
The 2024 NFL season is now entering a crucial phase for fantasy managers.
Week 9 (pending the outcome of Monday Night Football) was a standout week for second-year players. De’Von Achane, Chase Brown, Bijan Robinson, Emari Demercado, and Jahmyr Gibbs all ranked among the top 20 running backs. Likewise, Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Zay Flowers, Cedric Tillman, Tank Dell, Quentin Johnston, Jayden Reed, and Jordan Addison were all top 20 receivers.
Now, we step into Week 10.
Here are my fantasy football rankings for Week 10. You can switch between standard, half PPR (point per reception), and full PPR formats to see how players rank according to your league.
The YSL News Sports team is here to provide you with extensive resources for your Week 10 lineups and roster choices. Curious about the best players to grab off the waiver wire? Quarterback Rankings for Week 10: Players Rising and Falling
- RISING: Brock Purdy – Purdy has finished as a top-8 quarterback in four of his last six games and is set to go up against a Buccaneers defense that has allowed the most fantasy points to quarterbacks this season.
- RISING: Aaron Rodgers – Rodgers has been a QB15 or better in three of his last four performances and will face a vulnerable Cardinals defense.
- RISING: Daniel Jones – As of Monday Night Football, Jones is currently ranked as the QB4 of the week. He’s an appealing streaming option, particularly against the weak Panthers defense.
- FALLING: Kyler Murray – Murray has struggled this season, ranking as the QB15 or worse in five of his nine games. This week, he faces a Jets defense that allows the fourth-fewest fantasy points to quarterbacks.
- FALLING: Caleb Williams – Following a strong two-week performance, Williams has finished as QB28 and QB26 in his last two games. The Patriots have allowed the 10th-fewest fantasy points to quarterbacks this year.
- FALLING: Drake Maye – Maye is up against a tough challenge this week; the Bears are the least generous in fantasy points allowed to quarterbacks this season.
Running Back Rankings for Week 10: Players Rising and Falling
- RISING: De’Von Achane – With Tua Tagovailoa playing this season, Achane has scored RB6, RB3, RB3, and RB2 in his four games. He should be viewed as a top-five running back going forward.
- RISING: Tyrone Tracy Jr. and Devin Singletary – The Panthers are giving up nearly four extra half-PPR points per game to running backs compared to other teams. Tracy has seen at least 17 touches in four out of his last five games, putting him in RB1 territory. Singletary is a valid flex option in deeper leagues.
- RISING: Najee Harris – After a rough start, Harris has posted RB30 or worse in four of his first five games, but he rebounded with RB10, RB15, and RB16 finishes recently. He faces a Washington defense that’s been weak against the run lately.
- RISING: D’Andre Swift – The Patriots are among the worst at allowing fantasy points to running backs, and Swift has been consistently receiving at least 18 touches over the last five games.
- FALLING: Kareem Hunt – While it’s not the toughest matchup, the Broncos defense has proven to be tricky against the run this year, allowing just 3.9 yards per carry since Week 2. Hunt remains a top-20 option, though his potential is somewhat limited.
- FALLING: Tony Pollard – This season, the Chargers have allowed the second-fewest fantasy points to running backs. Pollard has struggled against tougher opponents, with four games finishing him as RB21 or lower.
- FALLING: Javonte Williams – Williams faces a daunting matchup this week. So far, no running back has achieved over 12.2 half-PPR points against the Chiefs this season. Williams has largely struggled, ranking as RB27 or lower in all but two games this year.
- FALLING: Tank Bigsby – With Travis Etienne back, Bigsby saw limited action with just eight carries against the Eagles. He faces another tough opponent in Week 10 as the Vikings have allowed the fifth-fewest fantasy points to running backs this year.
Wide Receiver Rankings for Week 10: Players Rising and Falling
- RISING: Garrett Wilson – Remarkably, Wilson has become the WR1 in fantasy since Week 5, surpassing 90 yards in four of his last five games and scoring three touchdowns during this period. He should have a great matchup against a struggling Cardinals secondary.
- RISING: Jordan Addison – Addison has been a top-30 wideout in three of his last five games and faces off against the Jaguars in Week 10.
- RISING: Tank Dell – Dell made a notable impact in Week 9 with 126 yards against the Jets. With Stefon Diggs out, Dell is expected to be a key target even when Nico Collins returns.
- RISING: Jalen Tolbert and KaVontae Turpin – CeeDee Lamb is currently second in the league with 84 targets and is listed as “week to week” due to a shoulder injury. If he doesn’t play, look for increased opportunities for Tolbert and Turpin.
- UP: Xavier Legette – The rookie has attracted 13 targets in the past two weeks and has been ranked among the top 32 fantasy receivers in four of his last six games. With Diontae Johnson now in Baltimore, he represents a compelling streaming option.
- DOWN: DJ Moore and Keenan Allen – While this could easily reflect the entire passing game of the Bears, both Moore and Allen have been performing poorly recently. Moore has ranked as WR52 or lower for three consecutive weeks, and Allen has only surpassed WR47 once all season.
- DOWN: Jaylen Waddle – A late-game touchdown does not change the fact that Waddle only had two targets resulting in negative four yards in Week 9. Since Week 1, he has not ranked higher than WR39.
- DOWN: Michael Pittman Jr. – No matter the quarterback situation, Pittman remains a difficult fantasy start this season. He has finished as WR57 or worse in five of his nine games.
- DOWN: Wan’Dale Robinson – Over the last two games, Robinson has managed only nine targets and recorded 40 yards without a touchdown. Even in a favorable matchup, he’s a challenging start.
Week 10 Fantasy Football Tight End Rankings: Risers and Fallers
- UP: Taysom Hill – With the Saints facing multiple injuries on offense and losing Chris Olave to a concussion in Week 9, Hill is expected to play a significant role against the Falcons this week.
- UP: Mike Gesicki – In the four games without Tee Higgins, Gesicki has averaged 5.5 receptions for 71 yards. However, with Higgins in the lineup, those averages drop to 1.6 receptions for 14.2 yards. If Higgins is unable to play on Thursday night, Gesicki becomes a top streaming choice.
- DOWN: Cole Kmet – Kmet has had five or fewer targets in every game where Keenan Allen has played this season and has only one target in his last two games.
- DOWN: Dalton Schultz – Up to this point, Schultz hasn’t ranked higher than TE20 in nine weeks. With Nico Collins returning soon, Schultz is likely unnecessary to keep on rosters in most leagues.
