Engineers Revolutionize CO2 Conversion: Turning Emissions into Valuable Resources

A new electrode design developed at MIT boosts the efficiency of electrochemical reactions that turn carbon dioxide into ethylene and other products. As the world struggles to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, researchers are seeking practical, economical ways to capture carbon dioxide and convert it into useful products, such as transportation fuels, chemical feedstocks, or even

Will Reeve, the son of Christopher Reeve, proposes to Amanda Dubin

The ABC News correspondent and his event planner fiancée shared their engagement on Instagram over the weekend.

Will Reeve has found his true love.

The ABC News correspondent and son of “Superman” actor Christopher Reeve proposed to Amanda Dubin during the weekend, as they announced through a shared Instagram post on Sunday. One of the pictures shows Reeve, 32, on one knee in front of Dubin in a beautifully decorated room filled with flowers and candles. “Us 🤍,” the couple captioned the moment.

Additional photos feature the happy couple sharing kisses and holding hands after their engagement. Another image captures the joy of their family and friends, all smiles as they celebrate Reeve’s proposal.

In a statement to People magazine, Reeve and Dubin expressed their excitement, saying, “Friday was the happiest night of our lives, and we look forward to spending forever together.”

The couple publicly acknowledged their relationship in April 2023 with Instagram updates showcasing their romantic trip to Paris for Dubin’s birthday.

Will’s father, Christopher, who was left paralyzed after a horse riding accident in 1995, passed away in 2004 at the age of 52. His mother, actress and singer Dana Reeve, died two years later in 2006 due to lung cancer. Will lost both parents when he was just 13 years old.

In a September interview with YSL News promoting the documentary “Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story,” Reeve reflected on his late parents, saying, “They brought me up in a normal, grounded way, which helps me face life’s challenges with sanity.”

“The five stages of grief exist, from denial to acceptance, but I’ve found that the sixth stage is healing, and that’s attainable for everyone,” Reeve remarked. “While grief remains ever-present, healing is achievable. That’s a principle I live by, honoring my parents through my actions and how I treat others.”
