Krispy Kreme revealed on Friday that their Original Glazed doughnuts will be turning green, as the Grinch is in “max mischief mode.” A press statement mentioned that the Grinch playfully intruded into Krispy Kreme locations to “mischievously tamper with our mix and glazers,” resulting in the doughnuts’ vibrant green color.

In a great offer, Krispy Kreme is giving away a free Original Glazed dozen with the purchase of any dozen at the regular price, which includes their new limited-time Grinch Green Dozen available for just two days. This promotion is exclusively available on Friday and Saturday, and customers can redeem it in-store or through the drive-thru, with a maximum of two dozens per guest while supplies last.

This special offer follows directly after the company’s annual “Day of the Dozens” event on Thursday, where they also provided a dozen Original Glazed doughnuts for free with the purchase of any dozen at the standard price.

Merry Grinchmas Doughnut Collection also still available

The Merry Grinchmas Doughnut Collection from Krispy Kreme, which was unveiled last month, is still available for select dates.

This delightful collection includes doughnuts inspired by characters from the classic 1966 holiday animation “How the Grinch Stole Christmas!” Additionally, two fan-favorite options are back: the Santa Belly Doughnut and the Holiday Sprinkle Doughnut.

Some of the new treats in this collection are:

• Grinch Doughnut: A doughnut without glaze, filled with a “coal” Cookies & Kreme filling, dipped in green icing, and decorated with a chocolate icing smile and buttercream hair.
• Grinchy Claus Doughnut: An Original Glazed doughnut coated in chocolate icing, adorned with white buttercream, festive crispies, and a charming Grinch-shaped piece.
• Cindy-Lou Who Merry Berry Tree Doughnut: An Original Glazed doughnut dipped in strawberry icing and topped with a green buttercream tree, sprinkled with festive decorations and crowned with a star piece.

This doughnut assortment comes packaged in a limited-edition custom Grinch dozen box, according to the company.
