Breathtaking Footage Captures Marcus Jordan’s Lamborghini in Daring Encounter on Train Tracks Prior to Arrest

Bodycam footage captures Marcus Jordan’s Lamborghini on train tracks prior to arrest

Police bodycam video reveals an encounter with Marcus Jordan in Central Florida, where the son of NBA legend Michael Jordan was detained on charges of driving under the influence and other felonies earlier this week.

The clips released by the Maitland Police Department show Jordan’s blue Lamborghini SUV awkwardly positioned on railroad tracks in Maitland, a suburb of Orange County, Florida.

Within the footage, another person, seemingly a woman, is seen nearby while Jordan stands beside his vehicle.

Court documents, reviewed by a YSL News journalist, indicate that Jordan claimed he had come from a strip club shortly before he got his vehicle wedged on the tracks around 1:30 a.m. on Tuesday.

“I took a wrong turn,” the 34-year-old Jordan allegedly told the police.

“I’m already concerned about your level of impairment,” a police officer expressed in the body cam footage.

“Why?” Jordan responded.

“Because I can smell alcohol on you, and you’re on train tracks,” the officer replied.

“This just happened, we meant to make a right turn… I ended up on the train tracks,” Jordan explained. “I just want to get my car off.”

“We’ll address that after this,” the officer said, then proceeded to arrest Jordan on suspicion of DUI.

What led to Marcus Jordan’s police encounter?

Court records acquired by YSL News show that the police discovered Jordan inside the high-end SUV with its headlights on, parked on train tracks near Maitland, north of Orlando.

After checking with local dispatchers who reported a train was about ten minutes from reaching the area, two officers approached the SUV where they observed that it had damage and learned Jordan was trying to move it away from the tracks.

“The tires were partially embedded in the dirt and rocks from being spun out,” an officer stated in the criminal complaint. “I noticed debris on the front bumper from the tracks, and the bumper was damaged.”

The arrest report also noted that dispatch informed officers that Jordan’s vehicle had just fled from a traffic stop conducted by the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office, located directly north of Orange County.

Officers reported that Jordan’s eyes appeared “bloodshot and glassy” at the scene, and he seemed “disoriented about his location.”

Marcus Jordan released on $4,000 bond

Jordan, who lists an Orlando address, was processed at the jail on Tuesday, according to online records from the Orange County Corrections Department obtained by YSL News.

The charges against him include DUI, possession of cocaine, and resisting arrest, as shared by a spokesperson from the Orange County Sheriff’s Office. On Wednesday, Jordan was released after paying a $4,000 bond, the spokesperson confirmed.

It remains unclear if he has secured legal representation for the case.

As of Wednesday morning, no information regarding his first court appearance was available online.
