Taylor Swift Debuts Highly Anticipated ‘Reputation’ Song at Last

Taylor Swift finally performs her eagerly anticipated ‘Reputation’ song

LONDON — While performing the last song from her album “Reputation,” Taylor Swift sent fans at Wembley Stadium into a frenzy, hoping for news about her sixth album’s re-release.

“I’ve played so many songs during this tour, but I haven’t shared one of my favorites yet,” Swift told the ecstatic crowd.

“It feels like I’ve formed amazing friendships with all of you,” she added. “It seems like I’ve witnessed some award-winning dancing so I’m going to try something I’ve never done on this tour because you all are spectacular.”

The wristbands given to attendees illuminated in a vibrant blue until Swift began with, “I never trust a narcissist.”

In an instant, those wristbands transformed to a bright green.

This lyric hails from “I Did Something Bad” on the “Reputation” album, and fans speculated that her decision to finally perform it would coincide with an announcement for the album’s re-release, as it was the only track from “Reputation” she hadn’t played during the Eras Tour.

Ashleigh Jade, a Swift fan influencer from Australia, broadcasted live on Instagram, her excitement palpable. “I’m truly sorry for screaming, but I just can’t help myself,” she expressed, apologizing to her followers.

“Rep TV is on the way, Rep TV is on the way,” the fans echoed, eagerly glancing at the screen hoping for new visuals and a release date. As Swift navigated through the song’s bridge and chorus, attendants joined in, mimicking the iconic studio version sound effect, “rat-ta-ta-ta-ta-ta.”

Once the song concluded, a palpable tension filled the air as everyone waited for a possible announcement.

“I can’t stop shaking,” Jade admitted. “I apologize for being this overwhelmed.”

Afterward, Swift set her guitar aside, sharing a medley from “My Boy Only Breaks His Favorite Toys” from “The Tortured Poets Department” and “Coney Island” from “Evermore.”

While no announcement was made, Jade remarked that it was one of the most unforgettable evenings.

“I can’t believe what just happened,” she exclaimed.

Swift has two more performances scheduled at Wembley Stadium and plans for the European segment of the tour continuing thereafter. This is such an exciting time!
