Subway cuts prices on footlongs for 2 weeks; some sandwiches will be nearly $7 less
Subway is responding to customer concerns over inflation, joining other fast-food chains like McDonald’s, Wendy’s, Burger King, and Taco Bell.
Subway is lowering the prices of its footlong sandwiches for a short period.
The chain is one of several fast-food restaurants enhancing their value meal offerings. Competitors like McDonald’s, Burger King, Wendy’s, and Taco Bell are also working to draw in customers who are cautious due to increasing prices, as reported by YSL News.
According to Subway, this new promotion is “as significant as its legendary footlongs.” Customers can purchase any footlong sandwich for just $6.99 for a limited time, although additional items like bacon or avocado will incur extra charges.
Typically, footlong subs are priced between $10 and $14 before any extras.
Doug Fry, president of Subway North America, mentioned in a statement that today’s diners might have tighter budgets and may have to give up on quality, variety, or taste to find affordable meals.
“Our menu offers footlongs for various budgets, and this new offer allows our customers to enjoy the sandwiches they love at a fantastic price,” Fry expressed.
