Steph Curry, the standout player for the Golden State Warriors, has confirmed a one-year contract extension worth $62.58 million, ensuring his stay with the team until the 2026-27 season.

 

At 36 years old, Curry’s earnings over the next three years will total $177.9 million, and the final year of this extension will elevate his career earnings from NBA contracts with the Warriors to over $500 million.

During the 2024 Paris Olympics, Curry shone for Team USA, particularly in the semifinals against Serbia and the gold medal match against France, where he amassed 60 points and hit 17 three-pointers across the last two games.

 

Curry has dedicated his entire professional career to the Warriors, achieving four NBA championship titles, earning two regular-season MVP awards, and one Finals MVP. He holds the record for the most three-pointers made in NBA history, with 3,747 – outpacing the next active player, James Harden, by 807 shots. Ray Allen ranks second with 2,973 three-pointers.
