Fans Express Concern Over Rachael Ray’s New TV Clip

Rachael Ray sparked worry among her fans after she shared a TV clip that has some viewers believing she might have slurred her speech.

The well-known chef released a video from her series “Rachael Ray in Tuscany” on Monday, paying tribute to the late singer Tony Bennett by preparing his favorite meal, ossobuco, while recounting a humorous story of a mishap she had with him.

In the clip, Ray, 56, describes how she cooked the veal shank and polenta dish for Bennett and his wife, Susan Crow. She recalls a moment when the chair he was sitting on “slid out from under him, causing him to hit his head on the marble counter behind him.” Thankfully, Crow reassured her that he would quickly recover, and he did, going on to enjoy two servings of her dish.

In the video, Ray speaks rather slowly, prompting fans to speculate about her health.

“I think she might have had a mini stroke,” one viewer commented. “Part of her mouth looks like it’s sinking. When did this happen? This makes me sad.”

“OMG, someone help this woman!” another commenter urged. “She acts like she is drunk all the time. I love Rachael, but it’s tough to watch her like this.”

Another viewer echoed this sentiment: “I adore her, but yeah, she seems out of it.”

As of now, Ray has not addressed the concerns raised by her fans.

YSL News has contacted Ray’s representatives for further clarification.

Some fans jumped to her defense.

“She was just emotional while talking about her friend,” one supporter remarked.

Another added: “For goodness’ sake! She’s okay! She’s not 22 and bubbly anymore, but she’s fine. Just missing her friend.”

Other videos from her series have also raised eyebrows, including one from Friday where she cooks pollo al mattone. The comments on that post were particularly harsh, with people commenting on her weight, her lack of makeup, and age, as well as speculating about her drinking habits.

Ray concluded her Emmy-winning show, the “Rachael Ray Show,” after 17 seasons in 2023.

“Rachael Ray in Tuscany” started broadcasting on FYI, a lifestyle cable network owned by A&E Networks, in June. The network has acquired a 50% share of Ray’s production company Free Food Studios, leading to the creation of six new shows under this partnership.
