Points Scored by Caitlin Clark in WNBA Playoff Debut with Indiana Fever

Caitlin Clark made her WNBA playoff debut on Sunday as the Indiana Fever faced off against the Connecticut Sun in Game 1 of their best-of-three first-round match.

Clark, who is a strong candidate for Rookie of the Year, suffered a hit to her right eye from Dijonai Carrington early in the first quarter while they both went for the ball. Surprisingly, no foul was called, but Clark continued playing without any hesitations.

She scored her first points in the postseason with a reverse layup at 3:16 left in the first quarter and later hit her first three-pointer in the third quarter.

Clark ended the game with a total of 11 points, shooting 4-of-17 overall and 2-of-13 from three-point range. Additionally, she contributed eight assists while committing just two turnovers.

Game 2 is set for Wednesday in Connecticut, starting at 7:30 p.m. ET on ESPN. A victory for the Sun would send them to the semifinals, whereas the Fever must win to bring the series to a deciding Game 3 in Indianapolis.
