Revolutionary Technique to Generate Hydrogen by Water Splitting for Sustainable Energy Solutions

Researchers have developed a novel method using facet-selective, ultrafine cocatalysts to efficiently split water to create hydrogen -- a clean source of fuel. Scientists are urgently searching for clean fuel sources -- such as hydrogen -- to move towards carbon neutrality. Luke Bryan suggests Beyoncé should join country’s scene after CMAs oversight

Luke Bryan is diving into the debate surrounding Beyoncé’s recent snubbing at the CMAs.

The “Country On” artist shared his thoughts with “Radio Andy” host Andy Cohen about the “Cowboy Carter” singer not receiving any nominations, despite her album being one of the year’s top sellers, according to Billboard.

“It’s a complex issue because Beyoncé created a country album, and she has a massive fan base that supports her. When things don’t go their way, they definitely voice their opinions, as they should,” Bryan remarked.

He is also set to co-host this year’s CMAs alongside former Indianapolis Colts quarterback Peyton Manning, along with rising star Lainey Wilson, for the upcoming show on November 20.

Bryan expressed his support for all artists venturing into country music, mentioning that “many great songs” often go unnoticed, and sometimes “nominations simply don’t happen.”

“Fans loved that Beyoncé ventured into country music. No one is upset about that,” he told Cohen. “However, it gets a bit complicated if you’re making country music, you should blend in with us a little more.”

Continuing the discussion, Bryan encouraged that “Beyoncé can do whatever she likes,” as “she’s arguably the biggest star in music,” but suggested that she should “attend an award show, high-five us, and enjoy being part of our community.” He emphasized, while noting he hasn’t seen her do that, that “country music is fundamentally about family.”

In March, Beyoncé launched her eighth studio album, “Cowboy Carter,” which reflects her Southern heritage and her complicated relationship with country music, stemming from experiences at previous CMA events.

“Cowboy Carter” topped the Billboard Top Country Albums Chart, marking the first time a Black woman achieved this milestone. However, when the nominees for this year’s CMAs were revealed, Beyoncé was left out entirely.

Beyoncé’s tumultuous connection with country music dates back to her 2016 CMA appearance

Beyoncé’s history with the CMAs is notable. In 2016, she faced a chilly response while performing “Daddy Lessons” alongside The Chicks. This surprise collaboration after a commercial break saw mixed reactions from the audience, with some applauding while others seemed unimpressed. Social media was abuzz with opinions regarding Beyoncé’s venture into country music.

This performance marked Beyoncé’s debut at the CMA Awards and was also The Chicks’ first appearance in a decade. In her announcement for the “Cowboy Carter” album, Beyoncé reflected on her past experience at the awards show.

She shared, “This album has taken over five years to create. It’s rooted in an experience from years ago when I felt unwelcome—and it was evident that I wasn’t,” detailing her deep dive into the history of country music and its rich heritage.

She elaborated, “The criticism I faced when first entering this genre pushed me to go beyond the limitations set before me. This album is a result of challenging myself and taking my time to integrate genres and create this collection.” In her announcement, she stated that the album “ain’t a Country album” but rather a “Beyoncé album,” part of her broader endeavor to reinterpret musical history through a Black perspective.
