PALM DESERT, Calif. – Normally, it’s the action between the Los Angeles Lakers and their rivals that entertains the crowd. However, during their preseason match against the Phoenix Suns on Sunday, LeBron James and a few teammates found themselves amused by an unexpected incident in the stands at Acrisure Arena.

The amusing scene started with 1:26 remaining in the third quarter.

After Bronny James committed a foul against the Suns’ Josh Okogie, the ball rolled loose and ended up with a very large fan who started creating some chaos.

This fan attempted to throw the ball over the basket but ended up hitting the stanchion instead, before regaining possession of the ball. The referee signaled for him to return the ball to play.

However, the fan refused to comply.

This prompted LeBron, Anthony Davis, and several other Lakers to get up from the bench, smiling and standing by as arena staff moved in to escort the unruly fan out.

This turned out to be quite a task.

It took about six staff members to struggle to remove the defiant fan, much to the amusement of LeBron and the Lakers players.
