Mike Tyson’s Strategic Choice: Turning Down Early Knockout for $5 Million from Jake Paul

Mike Tyson Needs to Avoid Early KO to Claim Jake Paul’s $5 Million Bet

Jake Paul has promised Mike Tyson $5 million if Tyson can last beyond the fourth round in their upcoming eight-round heavyweight match on November 15, according to a video released by Paul on Tuesday.

However, there’s a twist: If Tyson doesn’t make it through, he will have to get a tattoo that says “I love Jake Paul.”

In the video, Paul is shown shirtless on a couch, jokingly stacking what appears to be cash on his belly, which looks inflated (and likely fake). He made this wager on the TikTok page for his gambling platform, Betr.

“Mikey, Mikey, if you can last more than four rounds with me, I’ll give you an extra $5 million,’’ Paul says. “But if you don’t, then you must get a tattoo that says I love Jake Paul. Deal or no deal?”

Many analysts believe that Tyson, who is 58, might have a better shot at winning by achieving an early knockout instead of risking his endurance against the 27-year-old Paul.

So far, Tyson’s team has not publicly addressed the proposal.

The match is set to take place at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, and will be streamed live on Netflix.
