Jana Kramer says she took down her daughter’s video due to online ‘sickos’

Jana Kramer is figuring out how to manage her public life as a mother.

The country music star and former “One Tree Hill” actress discussed her decision to remove a recent video of her daughter Jolie from social media during her Instagram Stories on Monday, as reported by People magazine and Fox News.

Kramer, who co-parents 8-year-old Jolie with her ex-husband, former NFL player Mike Caussin, had posted a video that featured her dancing with Jolie and her two other children, Jace, 5, and Roman, who is 11 months old. In the video, Jolie was wearing a sports bra, and Kramer mentioned that she often joins her kids during her gym workouts.

“I would never let her go shopping in just a sports bra, and even though the video was recorded at home, I still shared it with 2 million people,” Kramer reflected, according to the reports.

The outfit Jolie wore quickly drew negative comments. Initially, Kramer “didn’t see the problem” with the video but later chose to take it down.

“I forget how disturbing this world can be and how children are often sexualized,” Kramer expressed. “It’s truly sad that this is where we find ourselves as a society.”

Kramer later re-recorded a clip with Jolie and her siblings, sharing it on Instagram with the caption “Take two— 💕”

“I love sharing moments of my family on Instagram. I understand the risks involved, but I genuinely believe that there is a balance to achieve, even when this world seems so out of sorts,” Kramer concluded. “I also realize that I can take better precautions to protect my children. I had no idea how far some people would go.”
