Revolutionary Polymer Design Breaks Boundaries of Toughness and Recyclability

Researchers have created a high-performance polymer that can be chemically recycled without compromising its heat and chemical resistance. The revolutionary design includes a directing group that allows links in the polymer to be broken easily with a catalyst and the original polymer to be reformed in few steps. The directing group could be included in

Ethel Kennedy, the widow of Robert F. Kennedy, hospitalized after a stroke

Ethel Kennedy is currently recuperating after experiencing a stroke last week, according to her grandson.

The spouse of former U.S. Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy and sister-in-law to former President John F. Kennedy reportedly had a stroke while asleep, as shared by former Representative Joe Kennedy III in a statement on X Tuesday.

“She was taken to a local hospital where she is receiving care,” he mentioned. “She is comfortable, receiving excellent medical attention, and is surrounded by family. As you may know, she is a resilient woman who has lived an incredibly fulfilling life, and we are here to support her.”

Joe Kennedy also shared that the family matriarch enjoyed a “wonderful summer and transitioning into fall,” spending quality time with her children, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She had been out on the water, visiting the pier, and relishing many meals with her family.

He remarked, “It has been a wonderful experience for all of us and for her as well.”

Joe Kennedy later encouraged the public to “keep her in your thoughts and prayers” and requested privacy for the family during this time.

Ethel Kennedy, aged 96, has 11 children, including Robert F. Kennedy Jr., along with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She became a widow at the age of 40 in 1968 when her husband, Robert F. Kennedy, was assassinated in California after winning the Democratic primary. She chose not to remarry.
