Martha Stewart’s Take: Why She’s Not Joining the ‘Golden Bachelorette’ Ranks

‘Not hot enough’: Why Martha Stewart says she’ll never be the next ‘Golden Bachelorette’

‘The Golden Bachelorette’ suitors ‘aren’t hot enough’ for Martha Stewart, as she explains one of the reasons she won’t join the show. Her friend Snoop Dogg agrees.

Martha Stewart, who places a high value on attractiveness, has firmly stated she would not participate in ABC’s “The Golden Bachelorette.”

No sum of money, not even $10 million, would persuade Stewart to change her mind, as she told “Watch What Happens Live” host Andy Cohen that the contestants “aren’t hot enough.”

During a segment discussing various pop culture topics, the lifestyle guru and her close friend Snoop Dogg shared their thoughts while guest Seth Meyers commented on whether they truly cared about the current trends.

The duo also touched on the newly released “Wicked” film and Stewart’s ongoing dispute with Food Network star Ina Garten, who just published her memoir, “Be Ready When the Luck Happens.”

When asked if they were interested in the reality dating show, both Stewart and Snoop replied with an emphatic “no.” Stewart also expressed a similar sentiment when Cohen questioned if she would consider joining if asked.

“It ain’t about money; it’s about how attractive the guys are,” remarked Snoop Dogg. “She said, ‘$10 million can’t get it if he doesn’t look right.’”

‘Golden Bachelorette’ reacts to Martha Stewart’s comments

The “Golden Bachelorette,” Joan Vassos, who is on her own quest for love, disagreed with Stewart’s opinion in a recent interview with Access Hollywood. She even tried to reach out to Martha via social media, but hasn’t heard back.

“Dating is tough, and I had a fantastic group of guys,” Vassos stated. “She doesn’t know them as I do. I experienced who they are on the inside and outside, both are exceptional.”

Vassos mentioned that the 24 men selected to compete for her affection were all “great guys.”

She added that every contestant did something “memorable that made me want to get to know them better” from the moment they stepped out of the limo on their first night.

“Perhaps Martha Stewart didn’t see what I saw. Maybe you need to be there in person to understand. But they were truly special men,” Vassos reflected.

Vassos expressed that it felt like “everyone was falling for them.”

“I wonder ‘What’s wrong with you, Martha? They’re amazing guys,’” Vassos commented.
