The 43-year-old superstar, who hails from Houston, has not made a formal endorsement of Harris for the presidency yet. However, she authorized the use of her song “Freedom” for Harris’ inaugural campaign video back in July when the presidential bid was first announced.
Fans are eagerly anticipating that Beyoncé will perform “Freedom,” a hit from her influential 2016 album “Lemonade,” along with a few other songs. The exact timing of Beyoncé’s performance on Friday is still unknown, including whether it will precede or follow Harris’s speech to the audience scheduled for about 8:30 p.m. CT.
