Discover Your 2024 Apple Music Replay: The Playlist You’ve Been Anticipating!

The suspense around Apple Music Replay 2024 is finally over. Here’s how to locate your playlist.

Apple Music Replay, a counterpart to Spotify Wrapped, is now available.

Now, users can dive into their Apple Music listening patterns with a report showcasing their most listened-to artists, albums, and genres of 2024.

This year, Apple Music listeners showed a preference for pop and hip-hop, with Sabrina Carpenter and Kendrick Lamar topping the charts. Notably, Taylor Swift’s five-year-old song made it to the top five most played tracks, while newcomers like Benson Boone and Teddy Swims captivated listeners with their heartfelt ballads. Rising country star Shaboozey also gained recognition in the Replay stats.

Below are instructions on how to reach your Apple Music Replay report and what’s new for this year.

How to find your Apple Music Replay

For iPhone users running iOS 18.1 or later, you can access the Replay feature directly through the music app using the Home, New, and Search tabs. Other users will need to visit replay.music.apple.com from a mobile or desktop device.

A slideshow will pop up; just click play to see your report.

What’s new in Apple Music Replay 2024?

This year, the platform also introduced a dedicated Replay feature for artists, providing insights on which of their tracks were most commonly discovered via Shazam and the cities with the largest fan bases.

Additionally, reports this year come with an enhanced “Top Listeners” feature, allowing users to see if they rank in the top 100 listeners for specific artists. New this year are the Top 500 or Top 1000 lists for both artists and genres.

Apple Music has also added a new “streaks” feature, which shows the longest consecutive days a user has listened through Apple Music. This streak tracking applies to artists as well, indicating when a user has consistently favored a particular artist over several months.

Another interesting addition this year is the “date of first play,” highlighting when users first heard the song, artist, or album that encapsulated their listening year.

Replay, and replay, and replay

If you’re interested in looking back even further, Apple Music provides an archive of previous Replay playlists, allowing users to revisit their favorite tracks from past years.

Beyond personalized playlists, Apple Music users collectively set notable trends for 2024, with more female artists making it to the end-of-year global songs chart than ever before. The service confirmed this in a recent release, noting that many of the top artists had not appeared on year-end charts before.
