Scooter Braun Muses on Missing Taylor Swift’s Celebration: ‘Just Start Laughing!’

Scooter Braun jokes about missing Taylor Swift’s party: ‘Let’s have a laugh’

The ongoing feud between Scooter Braun and Taylor Swift continues, and Braun sees the situation as something to chuckle about.

The former music manager took to Instagram on Tuesday night to reveal that he had just watched the Max documentary titled “Taylor Swift vs Scooter Braun: Bad Blood,” which explored their long-standing conflict following his acquisition of the pop singer’s master recordings.

He further elaborated on his Instagram story by sharing a TMZ post about a glamorous celebrity party thrown by Swift for her best friend Blake Lively, star of “It Ends with Us,” over the previous weekend.

In his post, he humorously questioned, “How was I not invited to this?!?” and included the hashtag, “#laughalittle.”

This summer, the music executive, who garnered attention for his ongoing conflict with Swift that prompted her to re-record her initial six albums, announced his decision to retire from music management after more than two decades.

He made this retirement announcement in a heartfelt Instagram post on June 17, where he reflected on his illustrious career.

“I’ve been fortunate to lead a life akin to ‘Forrest Gump,’ witnessing and participating in the journeys of some exceptionally talented individuals,” he wrote. “I often find myself asking, ‘How did I end up here?’ After 23 years, it’s time to turn the page on this chapter as a music manager.”

Braun’s impressive career includes collaborations with major music stars like Justin Bieber, Demi Lovato, and Ariana Grande.

However, reports surfaced last summer indicating that several of Braun’s top-tier clients were selecting to depart from his management.

Puck News noted that Bieber and Braun, who had maintained a working relationship since the beginning of Bieber’s career, “had not communicated in months,” while Billboard and People reported that Grande also chose to part ways with Braun.

This past June 17, which also coincides with Braun’s birthday, Swift seemed to take a jab at the owner of her master recordings during a concert in Cardiff, Wales.

During her acoustic performance, she remarked, “I invest a lot of my time into planning these events,” before launching into her song “I Forgot That You Existed,” merging it seamlessly with “This Is Why We Can’t Have Nice Things.”
