Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour: A Thrilling Miami Homecoming with Live Updates

Great news for Swifties! Taylor Swift has resumed her Eras Tour for the second and final U.S. part after a brief two-month hiatus.

The world’s top-earning female musician is set to mark the end of her historic tour tonight at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida.

New ‘Reputation’ bodysuit revealed

Fans meticulously follow Swift’s wardrobe choices for the Eras Tour, and she has updated her outfits for every era—except one.

That changed last Friday.

After 131 performances, she finally showcased a new “Reputation” bodysuit while performing “Are You Ready For It?” Despite the rain, she stepped out in a black bodysuit adorned with gold snakes instead of the previous red ones. Fans are bound to have fun discussing this change as they eagerly await the release of “Reputation (Taylor’s Version).”

In addition, Swift presented a sparkling silver, fringed dress for her “Fearless” segment.

Rain turns the show special!

As the “Fearless” segment concluded, rain began to fall in Miami. “Rain shows” have a special spot in Swift’s history—her first rain show of the Eras Tour occurred in Nashville earlier in 2023.

“The dancers, band, crowd, and I felt like little kids splashing in puddles all night,” Swift shared on X after that unforgettable performance. “It was a remarkable night I will always remember.”

Swift takes the stage

An all-too-familiar sequence began for Swifties: a countdown timer displayed 2:13, and Lady Gaga’s “Applause” transitioned into Lesley Gore’s “You Don’t Own Me.” The moment they had been waiting for had finally arrived. Swift and her spectacular Eras Tour were back for one final North American run.

Miss Americana herself hit the stage at 8 p.m.

“Miami, we are so back!” she exclaimed after performing “Cruel Summer,” dressed in an orange bodysuit and matching boots.

Gracie Abrams kicks off the show

The music commenced at 6 p.m. with Gracie Abrams warming up the audience. The rising star took a break from her own Secret of Us tour, which promotes her second album featuring a duet with Swift.

Abrams previously opened earlier U.S. shows on the Eras Tour and will continue to be part of the remaining North American performances for this year.

“I’m just a dedicated Swiftie, just like all of you. I’ll be in the audience in tears as soon as we finish our set,” Abrams expressed on stage, wearing a stunning sheer black dress with red accents and a midriff cutout. She performed the following tracks:

  • “Risk”
  • “Blowing Smoke”
  • “I Love You, I’m Sorry”
  • “Where Do We Go Now?”
  • “That’s So True”
  • “Tough Love”
  • “Free Now”
  • “Us”
  • “Close to You”

Is Mama Kelce attending the performance?

Various fan accounts suggest that Travis Kelce’s mother may be attending the show tonight. There’s also a possibility Jason and Kylie Kelce along with their kids could join. We’ll update as soon as we verify if any members of the Kelce family are present to support Swift.

It’s known that the Kansas City tight end is fully focused on football, meaning he might not attend any of the remaining shows.

Hard Rock Stadium events: The Kansas City Chiefs are set to have a Super Bowl rematch against the San Francisco 49ers on October 20 at 3:25 p.m.

Is Florence and the Machine joining Taylor Swift in Florida?

Exciting possibilities await!

Could Swift visit Florida without performing her iconic song?

Will Florence Welch make a surprise appearance like she did in London? Only time will reveal.

National music critic Melissa Ruggieri from YSL News described “Florida!!!” as a remarkable track featured on “The Tortured Poets Department,” which was released in April.

The song “Florida!!!,” co-written by and featuring Florence Welch, shines with both artists delivering strong vocals over an intense backbeat that feels grand and purposeful.

Though challenging to outperform Swift lyrically, Welch comes impressively close with her original line: “Barricaded in the bathroom with a bottle of wine, well, me and my ghosts had a blast.”

These two artists complement each other perfectly, both musically and in their outlooks.

Why am I suddenly wanting a yellow sweatshirt?

First, it was the glitter freckles.

Now, it seems yellow sweatshirts are trending for fall. Also, do we really need another cat?

Swift recently posted with one of her three cats, Olivia Benson, captioning it: “Back in the Office.” It resonates with our feelings upon returning to work today. Well, maybe we really wanted that sweatshirt, which sold out within an hour of her posting.

It’s Olivia’s time to shine. After all, last year Taylor appeared on Time magazine’s cover with her cat Benjamin Button.

Top Eras Tour outfits spotted in Miami

We adore not just the tour but also the amazing outfits fans wear to the shows. Each concert seems to unveil even more imaginative styles. We wanted to highlight some of our favorite looks shared by Swifties heading to the Miami performance:

Are you planning to wear glitter freckles to the Eras Tour?

We were mesmerized by Swift’s outfit at the Kansas City Chiefs game versus the New Orleans Saints. She certainly caught everyone’s attention.

It wasn’t just the stunning Vivienne Westwood dress.

It was her glitter freckles that took the spotlight.

After Swift’s appearance, sales for Fazit surged by an impressive 3,500%. The pop star’s influence, along with numerous viral TikTok videos and Urban Outfitters showcasing the brand, elevated its status in the cosmetics market.

“As many have noticed, I just started crying,” Aliett Buttelman, co-founder of Fazit, said, referring to a TikTok video that has amassed over 7 million views. “Having your brand worn by the top icon of our generation is incredibly validating for the diligent work we’ve dedicated over the past two years.”

Ways to Celebrate the Eras Tour if You Can’t Attend

“Taylor Swift – The Eras Tour Book,” a beautifully designed 256-page volume housing 500 images, including shots from every performance, rehearsal snapshots, and Swift’s personal insights, is set to hit Target stores on November 29. This book is likely to be a hit among fans this holiday season, priced at $39.99.

Earlier this week, Swift shared on Instagram: “As we approach the final leg of The Eras Tour, it feels surreal. This journey has been incredibly special and I wanted to capture the memories we created in a unique way,” highlighting her “personal reflections” within the book.

– Melissa Ruggieri

What Time Does the ‘Eras Tour’ Start in Miami?

The stadium gates will open at 4:30 p.m., with Swift set to perform around 7 p.m.

The Original Eras Tour

When the tour kicked off in April of the previous year, anticipation was high as it had been a while since Swift last toured for “Reputation.” Our national music critic, Melissa Ruggieri, witnessed the inaugural show in Glendale, Arizona, describing it as: “as ambitious as a Broadway musical.”

Though fans knew the tour would be grand, nobody could have predicted its evolution over the following year. Ruggieri noted: “It’s been a long time since a mainstream artist has packed so much music into a single performance, reminiscent of the most vigorous days of Bruce Springsteen’s legendary shows.”

Check out all of Ruggieri’s thoughts on that first show.

Will Travis Kelce Attend the Miami Eras Tour Shows?

Swift’s partner, Travis Kelce, may have attended his last Eras Tour concert in Gelsenkirchen, Germany. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end is focused on football and is likely to miss the Hard Rock stadium concerts, as the Chiefs have a Super Bowl rematch against the San Francisco 49ers on October 20 at 3:25 p.m.

Swift has shown her support for Kelce at three home games so far. Her next appearance at an NFL event may be the game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on November 4 at Arrowhead Stadium, right after she finishes her last American concert in Indianapolis on November 3.

Who is Opening for Taylor Swift in Miami?

Gracie Abrams will open for Swift in Miami, and she also performed at select dates of last year’s tour. Our reporter, KiMi Robinson, attended Abrams’ solo tour in Los Angeles in September and remarked that she “sings like she’s sharing a secret.”

Will she include songs like “I Miss You, I’m Sorry” or “Close to You” in her set? Here’s what she has performed earlier as the opener for the Eras Tour:

  1. Where do we go now?
  2. 21
  3. Block Me Out
  4. I should resent you
  5. I recognize it won’t be effective
  6. I long for you, I’m so sorry

Swifties Heading Straight to the Concert from the Airport

Fans arriving in Miami for the concert this week made a beeline for the stadium. Not for the performance yet, but rather to purchase merchandise, ensuring they wouldn’t miss out on the concert due to waiting in lines.

Charmaine Brown headed directly from her flight from Charlotte to the stadium, where she was rewarded with two bags filled with Taylor Swift hoodies and t-shirts. She had her vibrant red carry-on beside her while ordering an Uber to her hotel. This superfan donned her bright red “Karma is the guy on the Chiefs coming straight home to me” t-shirt, with an “All Too Well” sweatshirt tied around her waist.

“I snapped my first picture at 11:03 a.m., and my checkout pic was taken at 12:09 p.m.,” she shared, showing her latest photos. “I’m incredibly excited for the concert. I can’t wait! I sincerely hope Taylor knows how much we appreciate everything she does for us.”
