Curious about how much the Democrats messed up the presidential election? So much that they apparently forgot to cheat.

I received strong reassurances – directly from President-elect Donald Trump, multiple times – that Vice President Kamala Harris and the Democratic Party were scheming to rig the election, cheating like the notorious cheaters they are.

At a Pennsylvania rally in late October, Trump exclaimed: “They’ve already begun cheating in Lancaster. They’ve cheated.”

At another rally in Arizona, he emphasized: “The only thing that can stop us is the cheating. It’s the only thing that can hold us back.”

Did the Democrats really forget to cheat? Because Trump ended up winning, folks.

Well, it seems like the cheating we progressive types were supposed to execute simply didn’t happen, as nothing stood in the way of Trump decisively defeating Harris in Tuesday’s election.

So my lingering question after this disheartening loss is: What on earth, folks? Who failed to handle the cheating and the trickery?

Surely Trump didn’t fabricate a web of election denialism, right?

Trump has been shouting about Democratic cheating ever since he lost the 2020 presidential election to Joe Biden. A number of his supporters stormed the U.S. Capitol and are now facing jail time because he insisted that election was “rigged” and “stolen.”

Trump skipped the traditional White House meeting with Biden during the transfer of power.

Numerous lawsuits alleging voter fraud were filed in many states, but just because they were all dismissed due to a lack of evidence, I can’t accept that the whole “rigged election” narrative was just an elaborate lie.

Right? I mean, who would go so far as to weave an intricate web of falsehoods that ends up imprisoning people, convinces supporters to funnel millions into worthless legal battles, and results in lawyers being disbarred?

No, surely there must have been some truth behind all this election denialism.

Come on, Democrats, we were supposed to cheat using immigrants!

Just a few months back, Trump told Newsmax that Democrats were utilizing undocumented immigrants to register them to vote, which is simply not true.

“They’re working tirelessly to enroll people and register many of the same individuals you see crossing the border,” Trump stated. “That must be their original motivation; why else would they aim to ruin our country?”

Whatever happened to all the undocumented immigrants we fought so hard to register to vote? Did someone forget to tell them the date? What a disaster!

Did we neglect to use overseas ballots against Trump? Whoa!

In a post on social media, Trump also accused liberals like myself of recruiting noncitizens living abroad to vote: “The Democrats claim they’re working tirelessly to acquire millions of votes from Americans living overseas. In reality, they are preparing to CHEAT!”

Seriously, why weren’t we prepared to cheat?!?

Democrats Should Be Ashamed for Making Trump Look Bad by Not Cheating

This is a complete and utter failure to engage in the alleged electoral rigging we accuse others of. Personally, I feel terrible that we have allowed President-elect Trump to appear as a deceitful opportunist, whose behavior bilked millions from his backers, resulting in imprisonment for some.

Moving forward, I assure you that we Democrats will rectify our flawed system of imaginary fraud. Otherwise, it might seem like Republicans like Trump only claim cheating happens when they lose, yet declare everything went perfectly smooth when they come out on top.

That would indeed be ridiculous.

It’s disgraceful, and we Democrats should take responsibility.
