Canadian to Provide Play-by-Play for Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul Fight

Mauro Ranallo, a seasoned sports announcer known for his work in combat sports, will deliver the live play-by-play commentary for the showdown between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul.

The commentary team for this major event, which also features six additional fights on November 15, will include notable personalities like Roy Jones Jr., actress Rosie Perez, and Tyson’s eldest son, Amir.

These prominent figures have been brought together by Netflix, which is set to livestream the event and revealed the lineup in collaboration with Most Valuable Promotions (MVP), co-founded by Jake Paul.

Ranallo, a Canadian who previously provided commentary for the 2017 bout between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Conor McGregor, boasts vast experience in broadcasting major combat sports on national platforms. At AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, he will be backed by Jones, the former heavyweight champion, and Perez, a boxing enthusiast often referred to as “The First Lady of Boxing.”

Amir Tyson will contribute as a ringside reporter.

Other essential members of the broadcast team include Kate Scott, a British sportscaster who will act as the chief host; Andre Ward, a former boxing champion serving as the primary analyst; and Ariel Helwani, who will be reporting on the event.

Besides airing the fight, Netflix will also cover open workout sessions on Tuesday, a press conference on Wednesday, and the weigh-in on Thursday.
