Carly Rae Jepsen is engaged! Singer reveals her engagement to Grammy-winning producer

Jepsen is now set to marry producer Cole M.G.N., who contributed to her recent album “The Loveliest Time.”

Carly Rae Jepsen has discovered her perfect match, an engagement she describes with her new song “Guitar String / Wedding Ring.”

The 38-year-old Canadian artist shared her engagement to Grammy-winning producer Cole Marsden Greif-Neill, known professionally as Cole M.G.N., on Monday via an Instagram post. Her caption read simply, “Very engaged over here 💍❤️.”

In the first image, the couple is seen taking a selfie where Jepsen shows off a ring that features a rose gold band adorned with a prominent dark blue gemstone.

Additionally, Jepsen posted a series of photos capturing the couple’s joyful moments outdoors, amid the greenery and interacting with some farm animals.

Jepsen collaborated with Greif-Neill on her latest album, 2023’s “The Loveliest Time,” where he produced and co-wrote the song “So Right.” He also made an appearance as her on-screen love interest in the music video for the album’s lead single “Shy Boy,” albeit with his image slightly altered by animations.

The track “So Right” was the spark for their partnership, as Jepsen revealed to People magazine last year that her management team recommended they work together. Greif-Neill’s voice can be heard at the beginning of the song, engaging in playful dialogue with Jepsen.

“We plan to travel and take along an acoustic guitar,” she expressed. “Expect to see more collaboration between us on future projects; this is just our first little gem released into the world. We’re both thrilled about it!”

Jepsen also shared what makes their relationship successful during her interview.

“It’s incredible to travel with someone who encourages you to pursue your dreams while also saying, ‘Go after everything. I’m right here when you return,'” she noted. “Having a partner who is your biggest supporter without holding you back, yet also provides stability, is essential for a healthy relationship.”
