On Thursday, American Express Travel released its annual list of Trending Destinations, highlighting the most sought-after places to visit in 2025. This list is compiled from travel reservations made by American Express Card Members—primarily millennials and Gen Z—as well as insights from Amex Travel’s network of consultants in 23 countries.

“Our goal is to encourage our Card Members to experience the full spectrum of travel,” stated Audrey Hendley, President of American Express Travel. “With our global travel expertise, resources like our annual Trending Destinations list, and specialized programs like The Hotel Collection, we aim to assist our Card Members in planning diverse trips and inspire them to discover new places.”
