Ben Whittaker and Liam Cameron tumble over the ropes in light heavyweight match
It was an unbelievable sight, leaving spectators in awe.
At the conclusion of the fifth round of their light heavyweight bout on Saturday in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Liam Cameron cornered fellow British fighter Ben Whittaker against the ropes.
Then gravity took its course.
The fighters both fell over the top rope and landed on the platform outside the ring.
Whittaker, who seemed to have hurt his right leg, was carried away in a wheelchair. According to DAZN Boxing, he was taken to a nearby medical facility.
This bout was part of the undercard for the Artur Beterbiev versus Dmitry Bivol fight and was deemed a technical split draw.
Whittaker, aged 27, now holds a record of 8-0-1, while Cameron, who is 33, has a record of 23-6-1.
