On Sunday, Jay-Z vehemently denied accusations that he drugged and raped a 13-year-old girl alongside Sean “Diddy” Combs in 2000.

In a statement from his representative shared on social media, the artist, whose real name is Shawn Carter, labeled the lawsuit as a “blackmail attempt.” He also criticized attorney Tony Buzbee extensively, promising to reveal him as a “fraud” publicly.

The 55-year-old star of “Empire State Of Mind,” who was 30 at the time of the alleged incident, expressed “heartbreak” regarding the impact on his family, stating he would have to address the situation with his children. Jay-Z and his wife Beyoncé are parents to three kids, including their 12-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy.

“My wife and I will need to explain this to our kids, particularly since our daughter is at an age where her classmates will inevitably see the news and inquire about these allegations,” said Jay-Z.

“I grieve yet another loss of innocence,” he continued. “Children shouldn’t have to experience such things at such a young age. It’s unjust for them to grapple with the extreme malice aimed at shattering families and the human spirit.”

In the updated lawsuit submitted on Sunday, a woman identified only as Jane Doe claimed that Jay-Z and Diddy drugged and assaulted her in 2000 at an after-party for the MTV Video Music Awards. The woman initially filed a suit against Combs back in October.

The lawsuit alleges that the woman felt dizzy after being allegedly drugged and lay down in a bedroom, where both Jay-Z and Combs entered. The claim states that Jay-Z allegedly removed the woman’s clothing, held her down, and raped her while Combs and another unidentified female celebrity observed. Following this, Combs is claimed to have raped her while Jay-Z and the female celebrity looked on.

The lawsuit asserts that “Combs has been allowed for years to act in this manner without facing any repercussions. He thinks he is above the law. He is not. His close friend Shawn Carter has been present during many such occasions. Both must be held accountable for their actions.”

“My lawyer received a so-called demand letter from a ‘lawyer’ named Tony Buzbee, which I consider a blackmail attempt. He likely thought that the severity of these accusations and the ensuing public attention would pressure me to settle.

On the contrary, it had the opposite effect! Instead, I am determined to publicly expose you for the fraud you are! So no, I will not pay you ONE RED CENT!!

These allegations are so terrible that I urge you to file a criminal complaint, not just a civil one! Anyone who would commit such a crime against a minor deserves to be imprisoned, don’t you agree?

The supposed victims deserve genuine justice, don’t they?

This lawyer, whom I’ve looked into, appears to have a track record for these types of theatrics!

My wife and I will have to inform our children of the situation, especially since our daughter is at an age where her friends will likely see the news and pose questions about the allegations. I grieve another loss of innocence. Children should not be subjected to such things at such a young age. It is wrong to force them to grapple with incomprehensible malice aimed at breaking apart families and the human spirit.

My thoughts and support are with the true victims in this world, who must watch their stories turned into spectacles for profit by something akin to an ambulance chaser in a cheap suit.

You have made a grave mistake in assuming that all ‘celebrities’ are the same. I am not from your realm. I am a young man who rose up from the projects of Brooklyn. We don’t play these sorts of games. We adhere to strict codes and honorable conduct. We protect children while you seem to exploit people for your own benefit. Only your circle of conspiracy theorists and delusional thinkers might believe the nonsensical charges you have made against me, which, if not for the serious nature surrounding harm to children, would be laughable.
