Lizzo Features Ozempic Themed Costume for Halloween, Taking a Jab at ‘South Park’ and Critics

The singer donned an outfit resembling a weight-loss medication as a response to a recent parody of her by “South Park.”

Lizzo is firing back at her critics while also playfully responding to “South Park” with a clever Halloween costume.

The artist behind “About Damn Time” took to social media on Saturday, showcasing her costume as a weight-loss medication she named “LizzOzempic.” She wore a faux FDA-approved box labeled as “diet suppressor,” accentuated with a yellow measuring tape around her waist.

One of her posts looked like an ad that claimed, “Need self-love? Try Lizzo! Lose guilt, gain confidence,” and listed playful side effects such as “A smile on your face and a pep in your step.”

In another post, she enjoyed pizza while posing with someone in an inflatable Eric Cartman costume, referencing a recent “South Park” special called “The End of Obesity” that poked fun at her commitment to body positivity.

“Alright Halloween … let the fun begin,” she cheekily captioned one of her posts.

In another photo, she danced with Cartman, stating, “It’s that time of year where I treat you all to a feast, and you’re very welcome, darling.”

On the adult animated series, Eric Cartman’s doctor humorously prescribes him Lizzo as a budget-friendly substitute for Ozempic or Mounjaro, noting that insurance only covers those medications for diabetic patients. In the skit, Lizzo is presented as a more affordable option that “boosts your self-esteem about your weight and costs 90% less than Ozempic,” mentioning that “70% of users of Lizzo no longer worry about their weight.”

Last month, the 36-year-old singer addressed rumors about her fitness journey by sharing, “When you finally get hit with Ozempic accusations after five months of weight training and calorie control,” while expressing frustration.

She also shared videos showing her weight loss, accompanied by audio of Nicki Minaj saying, “The fact that anyone would judge my appearance is insane,” with the caption, “FINE BOTH WAYS.”
