Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Faces Lawsuit Over Allegations of Sexual Assault from 2006 Event

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Faces Lawsuit for Alleged Sexual Assault at 2006 ‘Black Party’

Sean “Diddy” Combs has recently been implicated in two civil lawsuits filed on Friday. One lawsuit claims that he sexually assaulted a 23-year-old woman who won a contest to attend one of his parties in New York City back in 2006.

LaTroya Grayson has submitted a lawsuit in a federal court in New York, stating that she attended Combs’ “black party” on October 16, 2006, and woke up in a hospital the following morning with no memory of the prior night’s events.

The lawsuit includes photographs of alleged receipts and plane tickets, as well as images reportedly taken at the party. Grayson asserts that she consumed “less than” two drinks that were served by staff and found herself waking up at Saint Vincent’s Medical Center of New York.

The complaint alleges Grayson “believed she was drugged, assaulted, and robbed,” with no recollection of how she ended up in the hospital, as she remembers only being at Combs’ event.

According to Grayon, when she was at the hospital, she discovered that her shirt was torn, her underwear was missing, she had no shoes, and the money she brought with her was gone, leaving her with just twenty dollars.

Additionally, Grayson alleges that the next day, she received a threatening call from an “anonymous female caller” who warned her not to go after Combs for the alleged assault. Grayson contends that this call revealed Combs’ involvement in the incident.

Almost a month before filing her lawsuit, Grayson gave an interview to The Mirror discussing the alleged assault.

Diddy’s Attorneys Deny Allegations

In response to the claims, Combs’ legal team issued a statement on Friday through YSL News asserting, “Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted anyone or engaged in sex trafficking. Ms. Grayson acknowledges that she has no memory of the events detailed in her complaint and does not know who else might have been involved, nor has she ever spoken with Mr. Combs.”

“Her accusations against him are purely fictional. As we have stated before, Mr. Combs cannot respond to every unfounded lawsuit aimed at gaining financial advantage. He trusts the legal process, which will distinguish fact from opportunistic fabrications like these.”

In her lawsuit, Grayson claims that she and her half-sibling won a contest from Tulsa’s 105.3 KJAMZ FM to attend a luxurious trip to one of Combs’ parties in New York City. She maintains that Atlantic Records “organized the event” and arranged for her travel and stay.

She reports experiencing vaginal pain after the alleged assault but refrained from reporting it to authorities due to confusion and fear.

Grayson holds Combs and other entities – including Bad Boy Entertainment, Atlantic Records, the Tulsa station, and Delta Airlines – accountable, claiming they were part of a RICO enterprise and “100% liable” for Combs’ alleged misconduct. She also cited negligence, sexual assault, battery, and violations of the New York City Victims of Gender-Motivated Violence Protection Act.

YSL News has reached out to Atlantic Records, Delta Airlines, and KJAMZ for their responses.

Another Lawsuit Filed by Jane Doe

On the same day, a Jane Doe from Louisiana, represented by attorney Tony Buzbee, also lodged a lawsuit against Combs, alleging sexual assault in 1991 after they met at a charity basketball game at New York’s City College.

The lawsuit claims she was invited to the event – which ended in a tragic stampede that killed nine people – through a rapper. When he couldn’t be found, she states that she was introduced to Combs in his makeshift dressing room, where she alleges that he assaulted her while his bodyguard monitored outside the door.

Jane Doe seeks compensation for both her physical injuries and emotional distress and requests punitive damages due to the alleged assault.

Attorney Buzbee has filed nearly twenty lawsuits against Combs on behalf of alleged victims, including minors, who claim he sexually assaulted them over a span of thirty years. Recently, he has been engaged in legal disputes with Shawn Carter, better known as Jay-Z, stemming from a lawsuit involving allegations of sexual assault against Combs in 2000, when the claimant was just 13 years old.

Jay-Z has strongly denied these allegations. In response to the initial lawsuit filing in October, Combs’ representatives alleged that Buzbee’s numerous filings were merely attempts to attract media attention, asserting that Combs “has never sexually assaulted anyone—be they adult, child, male, or female.”

Currently, Combs is in jail after multiple bond rejections, with a trial date scheduled for May 5, 2025. He continues to assert his innocence against a growing list of civil lawsuits from the previous year, accusing him of incidents of rape, trafficking, and sexual abuse spanning from the 1990s to 2022.

In September, he entered a not guilty plea regarding racketeering, sex trafficking, and transportation for prostitution offenses.
