Don’t get too comfortable up there
Your next Southwest Airlines flight may feel subtly different.
Starting Wednesday, flight attendants will begin preparing cabins for landing at an altitude of 18,000 feet instead of the current 10,000 feet, Eve Chen reports.
That means in-flight cabin service will end about 10 minutes earlier than it does now. Passengers will have to raise their seatbacks and stow their tray tables sooner.
