WASHINGTON – President-elect Donald Trump and his family made their way to Washington, D.C. on Saturday, utilizing an Air Force plane provided by President Joe Biden before the inauguration ceremony set for Monday.

Both Trump’s custom navy blue and crimson private jet, known as “Trump Force One,” and a military aircraft were present at Palm Beach International Airport on Saturday. Trump’s son Eric and his wife Lara chose the private jet, as reported by Reuters.

Karoline Leavitt, a spokesperson for the Trump-Vance transition team, shared on X, formerly Twitter, that “The President and First Lady are now departing Mar-a-Lago for Washington, DC, embarking on a momentous journey for our nation!”

For the flight, which lasted less than three hours to Washington Dulles International Airport, Trump, along with his wife Melania, daughter Ivanka, and her husband Jared, traveled on a specially modified Boeing BA.N 757-200, adorned in the signature blue and white colors and emblazoned with “United States of America.”

Upon arrival, Trump made his way to his golf club located in Sterling, Virginia, just outside Washington, where he is set to celebrate with around 500 guests who will enjoy a fireworks show and musical acts, including an Elvis impersonator named Leo Days and tenor Christopher Macchio, who will sing the national anthem at Trump’s inauguration.

Additionally, Trump plans to hold a rally for his supporters at the Capital One Arena in downtown D.C. on Sunday, the day before his inauguration.
