In a nice movie, a dog that spent five weeks lost in the wilds of Greenville County, South Carolina, was captured having a very special meeting with her landlord.
The hoarse mix, Oakley, was one of four dumped in Greenville County’s forest in June, according to Anakin’s Roads Stray and Pet Recovery in a Facebook post on Sunday.
Oakley was unspotted for several days following Hurricane Helene before being caught suddenly on cameras. The rescue team therefore began the luring phase.
A tailor-made trap with meals bait, which rescuers claimed was frequently used to help dogs recovering from nervous and fearful, was later used to capture Oakley. According to them, the organization is working on her as well, and there is still another puppy in a similar situation.

Oak approaches her owner gently, who initially appeared anxious, in the video of the reunion. Experiencing what Anakin’s Trails Stray and Pet Recovery called “lost dog syndrome”, Oakley did n’t look to recognize her family at first.
After a couple careful coughs, but, Oakley’s recollection came flooding back. The rest of the movie features Oakley smothering her people with kisses while tails wagging and brain wagging.
While Oakley’s content end has now arrived, the evacuation said in other Twitter posts that another dumped hoarse mix, Oakley’s girlfriend Juno, is pregnant and still on the run. Juno is about a fortnight female and has about a month until her babies are born, according to an update shared on Thursday. ” Our main goal straight now is to get Juno”, said the article.
The various dogs who previously went missing are Oakley’s mother, Nova Jo, who was caught shortly in the search, and sister Marley, who was caught Tuesday and eventually reunited with her family.
The rescue had no access to any further information about the coach or any further research into the event.
