Bank of America reports that all service disruptions have been completely fixed
Bank of America announced that a technical glitch affecting the ability of numerous customers to access their accounts on Wednesday has been fully addressed.
Issues with account access were reported to peak around 1 p.m. ET, as Downdetector noted approximately 20,266 complaints.
Bank of America stated, “Earlier today, some users of mobile and online banking faced difficulties accessing their account details and balances. These technical difficulties have now been completely resolved. We apologize for any trouble caused.”
The bank did not provide any details on what led to the outage.

Users reported on Wednesday that they were unable to view their account balances in the app, with some stating that while they could log in, their balances showed $0.
One user commented on Downdetector, “The app isn’t working and online banking shows balances from yesterday.”
Another user reported, “Both the app and web access to Bank of America seem partially dysfunctional for us. I can see some accounts now, but not all. The transfer feature between accounts is still not working for any of them.”
