‘Severance’ Cast and Ben Stiller Take Over Grand Central for Season 2: Check It Out

Employees of Lumon Industries are shifting their workspace to a more public venue—Grand Central Station.

On Tuesday, “Severance” stars Adam Scott, Britt Lower, Zach Cherry, and Tramell Tillman attended a promotional event for the upcoming season of the Apple TV+ show at Grand Central Station in New York.

A cubicle setup was displayed inside a large glass enclosure, mimicking an office from the show. Clips shared on social media by fans and director/executive producer Ben Stiller captured Scott tidying the carpet and engaging with his co-stars, pretending to work at their desks despite the large crowd around them.

Patricia Arquette, who portrays Lumon manager Harmony Cobel, also joined the event. Stiller recorded a video during which someone off-camera expressed their admiration for his work.

Earlier that day, social media posts featured the desks filled by individuals not part of the main “Severance” cast but who played roles as Lumon employees. Before Scott and his co-stars arrived, Stiller tweeted, “Rush hour today should be interesting.”

The series “Severance” depicts a puzzling company that provides employees with the option to “sever” their professional lives from their personal lives. Those who undergo the procedure lose all memory of their workday upon leaving the office, leading to a clear dichotomy between the worker, called an “innie,” and the individual in the outside world, known as an “outie.”

However, it quickly becomes apparent that this arrangement creates a bleak reality for the “innie,” who finds themselves compelled to devote all their time to work with no personal life to speak of.

Fans have been eagerly anticipating the second season of “Severance,” which comes nearly three years after a major cliffhanger aired in April 2022. The production of Season 2 faced delays due to strikes within Hollywood.
