Beyoncé Breaks Records: Crowned as the Female Artist with the Most RIAA Certified Titles

Beyoncé has achieved the most RIAA certified titles of any female artist

Beyoncé has reached a significant milestone in her career, becoming the female artist with the highest number of RIAA certified titles ever.

The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) has revealed that the 32-time Grammy Award winner has achieved a remarkable total of 103 certifications for her albums and singles.

Huge congratulations to Beyoncé, Parkwood Entertainment, Columbia Records — and a shoutout to the BeyHive for streaming her music non-stop!” said RIAA President Michele Ballantyne in a statement.

Initially, the RIAA’s Gold & Platinum program was established to acknowledge artists and monitor sound recording sales. It has since evolved into the leading program celebrating accomplishments in the music industry, honoring artists who achieve strict criteria based on sales and streaming, with gold (500,000 units), platinum (1 million units), or diamond certifications (10 million units).

Beyoncé’s impressive collection of RIAA accolades includes seven-times platinum recognition for her first solo album “Dangerously in Love” and her project “I Am Sasha Fierce.” Her albums “4” and “Lemonade” both achieved four-times platinum, while “B’Day” reached five-times platinum, and her self-titled album hit six-times platinum.

Her latest album, “Renaissance,” released in 2022, has obtained two-times platinum status.

This year, Beyoncé unveiled her eighth studio album “Cowboy Carter” during a surprise ad for the Super Bowl, which included the release of singles “16 Carriages” and “Texas Hold ‘Em.” Both songs quickly took the internet by storm, as did the album upon its release, which has achieved platinum status.

Already the most awarded artist in Grammy history with 32 wins, Beyoncé recently became the artist with the most Grammy nominations ever after receiving 11 nominations at this year’s ceremony for “Cowboy Carter.” This brings her career total to 99 nominations, surpassing her previous tie with her husband, Jay-Z, who had 88 nominations.
