Cardi B Halts Performance Amid Health Scare and Reported Swatting Incident

Cardi B cancels performance following ‘medical emergency’ and alleged swatting event

The rap star reassures fans that she’ll “be back better and stronger soon” after being hospitalized.

Cardi B is stepping back from performing after her recent hospital stay.

The Grammy Award-winning artist, aged 32, announced on her social media that she has to cancel her upcoming gig at One Music Fest. She mentioned she is recovering from an unspecified “medical emergency.” Cardi was slated to perform at the festival in Atlanta this Saturday.

“I am so sad to share this news, but I’ve been in the hospital recovering from a medical emergency for the last few days and won’t be able to perform at ONE Music Fest,” Cardi shared.

YSL News has tried to contact Cardi B’s representatives for further insights into her health.

“It breaks my heart that I won’t get to see my fans this weekend, and I truly wish I could be there,” Cardi added. “Bardi Gang – I appreciate your understanding. I’ll be back better and stronger soon. Don’t worry. Love you all.”

Before her hospitalization, Cardi was seen at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in Brooklyn, New York, on October 15.

Cardi’s recent health update comes after she accused someone of making a fake call to Child Protective Services regarding her children.

Cardi B condemns a ‘prank’ that led to the alleged Child Protective Services visit

In an Instagram Live session earlier this week, Cardi stated that a prank call was made to Child Protective Services, claiming her children were being physically harmed. She has three kids: 6-year-old daughter Kulture, 3-year-old son Wave, and a daughter born in September, with her estranged spouse Offset, who is also a rapper.

The livestream took place while Cardi was in the hospital, as indicated by footage shared online. The “Bodak Yellow” rapper, who mentioned her hospital stay began on Saturday, appeared to be lying on a hospital bed during the video.

“I promise I’m going to get to the bottom of this,” Cardi declared about the situation in which “cops and Child Protective Services” came to her home.

“To make a prank call to Child Protective Services for them to come to my gated mansion at 11 p.m. while my kids are asleep, just because of an anonymous report claiming my children have been abused. This is when pranks go too far,” she said.

Cardi criticized the person who made the alleged call for their insensitivity, highlighting that her family is one of the few families of color in her neighborhood.

YSL News has reached out to both Cardi B’s representatives and Child Protective Services for their comments.

In her closing remarks on Instagram Live, Cardi pledged to pursue legal action against both CPS and the individual behind the alleged prank call.

“Don’t you dare in your life toy with my motherhood or my ex-husband’s fatherhood,” Cardi expressed. “My kids have never been harmed, and I don’t hit them, no matter how irritating they can be. We take exceptional care of our children.”
