Coca-Cola and Oreo Unite for Exciting New Cookies and Beverages
Two well-known global brands are working together on two new limited-edition food and drink items inspired by each other.
Starting Monday, September 9, Coca-Cola and Oreo will release these exciting new products:
- Oreo Coca-Cola Sandwich Cookie: This cookie features a striking red and black design, made with two different types of basecakes. One is the classic chocolate flavor infused with Coca-Cola syrup, while the other is a vibrant red golden cookie decorated with Coca-Cola motifs. They are filled with a creamy white filling and include a Coca-Cola flavor along with popping candies that provide a fizzy sensation with each bite, as noted in the press release.
- Coca-Cola Oreo Zero Sugar: This drink combines the refreshing taste of Coca-Cola with delightful hints of Oreo cookie flavors.
Spotify Collaborates with ‘Bestie Mode Digital Experience’
In addition, consumers can take part in the “Bestie Mode Digital Experience,” an interactive feature with Spotify. By scanning Coca-Cola and Oreo products, users can follow instructions to connect with their best friend, as mentioned in the press release.
“After linking to a Spotify account, fans will answer questions to compare their music tastes with their best friend’s. A unique playlist will then be created based on their shared music preferences for them to enjoy together,” the companies explained in their announcement.
Furthermore, the brands will debut a “Besties Mode” merchandise line in the U.S. through fashion retailer Forever21. This collection includes tops, jackets, socks, tote bags, cosmetics bags, drinkware, and notebooks, set to hit stores in mid-September.
