The Eagles Las Vegas Setlist: Complete Songs from Their Sphere Concert
LAS VEGAS – The Eagles, taking the stage as the fourth act in the Sphere, faced the challenge of enhancing their visuals to match the unique setting of this Las Vegas venue.
During the launch of their residency on September 20, where they will perform 20 shows on select weekends until January 25, the band showcased their signature tight harmonies paired with stunning visuals.
Although “Hotel California” is an unusual choice for an opener, the Eagles strategically placed it early in the set to take full advantage of the impressive sensory graphics that accompanied the song, featuring a slow-moving passage through hotel hallways and a Greek chorus echoing the chorus above.
The band’s lineup, including Don Henley, Timothy B. Schmit, Deacon Frey, Vince Gill, and Joe Walsh, along with veteran guitarist Steuart Smith, made adjustments to their typical setlist from The Long Goodbye Tour, which began in September 2023. They saved “Seven Bridges Road” for the middle of their two-hour performance and included “Those Shoes,” a lesser-known track from the 1979 album “The Long Run.”
Other standout moments featured Gill’s soaring vocals on “Take It to the Limit,” the mesmerizing “Witchy Woman,” enhanced by moss-covered trees enveloping the audience in the sold-out venue, and an energetic performance of “Life in the Fast Lane,” which included visuals of a moving ride along the Las Vegas Strip.
