Eight bulls ran away during a rodeo at a Massachusetts mall, and authorities were able to catch most of them after nearly four hours of searching.
Out of the eight bulls, seven were successfully recaptured, leaving one still unlocated.
The chaos began around 12:30 p.m. on Sunday at the Emerald Square Mall in Attleboro, approximately 40 miles south of Boston, near the Rhode Island border, as reported by the North Attleboro Fire Department.
According to a press release, “The bulls broke free from their pens, raced through the parking lot, and leaped over a fence surrounding the event.” After escaping, they headed south towards nearby woods behind BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse.

Bulls found ‘stuck’ about 6 miles from mall
One bull was caught shortly after the escape, and six others were discovered “stuck behind a fence at a residence” around 4:30 p.m., approximately 6 miles away from the mall, as stated by the fire department.
Responders from North Attleboro Fire, North Attleboro Police, Attleboro Police, along with members from the rodeo, successfully rounded up the six bulls and secured them in a trailer with no further incidents, according to the press release.
Chris Mooney, an Attleboro resident, reported seeing the bulls walking down his street and into his yard, expressing his astonishment when he spotted them. “When I stepped outside and looked, I realized those weren’t horses, but actual bulls, and oh my god,” Mooney shared with local news. “Two of them were lying down, one was pushing against the fence trying to get out, while the others were just sitting there.”
