Jerry Jones reports that the Cowboys CB has a “tear in his baby”
At corner, the Dallas Cowboys are struggling with yet another significant damage.
Cowboys owner Jerry Jones gave a depressing release about cornerback Trevon Diggs just days after the group announced it would be adding ballhawk DaRon Bland to its 53-man lineup.
How’s what to know about Diggs ‘ injury and his reputation moving forward.
Trevon Diggs damage release
Diggs is experiencing a “tear in his calf,” according to Jones during a Friday look on 105.3 The Fan.
Jones did n’t give many clarity on Diggs ‘ status for Sunday’s game against the Atlanta Falcons. He merely offered “he’s never so confident” that the former cornerback will miss the competition.
Diggs initially believed he was struggling with stiffness in his leg, as he detailed after Wednesday’s process.
” It was a small tender coming out of the game”, Diggs said, per The Athletic’s Jon Machota. ” Perhaps one of the acts I got hit or anything. I’m receiving care and going over it.
Due to his injuries, Diggs was unable to participate in Cowboys training on Wednesday and Thursday. Cowboys manager Mike McCarthy referred to him as a “game-time choice” after Friday’s program.
In Week 9, the Cowboys would be significantly short on cornerback if they did n’t have Diggs. Despite being added to the roster, Brandon did n’t practice on Wednesday or Thursday, and Caelen Carson, a rookie, has n’t played since Week 3, because of a shoulder injury.
