Beyoncé and Levi’s hint at an exciting collaboration: ‘A denim story like never before’


Beyoncé Knowles-Carter has a rich history of fashion collaborations, previously partnering with prestigious brands like Tiffany & Co., Giorgio Armani, and Adidas.

 

Now, fans have yet another reason to purchase Levi’s Jeans, as the brand appears to be gearing up for a new collaboration with the music icon.

Levi’s teased this upcoming partnership with Beyoncé through a series of posts on their official Instagram page, where they tagged her.

On Tuesday, they shared a visual slide, with the first image showcasing what seems to be Beyoncé on a billboard wearing Levi’s jeans. The billboard read “launderette” at the top and continued with the phrases “reimagined with Beyoncé” and “music Levii’s Jeans.” It also included the date, September 30.

 

Another slide featured the text, “join us as we imagine iconic stories from our past,” alongside the line, “a denim story like never before.”

Levi’s first hinted at this potential collaboration on September 23, posting a drawing of a woman on horseback wearing a cowboy hat and tagging Beyoncé, with the caption “Introducing: A New Chapter.”

Additionally, Levi’s created a highlight titled “Levii’s” on their Instagram profile, using the same image. This is a clear nod to Beyoncé’s song “Levii’s Jeans,” featuring Post Malone from her latest album, “Cowboy Carter.”

As excitement grows over the potential collaboration with the “Levii’s Jeans” singer, social media users promptly began sharing billboard advertisements from cities like Paris and Berlin, thought to be promoting the partnership.

 

According to YSL News, the song featuring Post Malone significantly boosted traffic to Levi’s physical stores by nearly 20% compared to last year. The surge in visitor numbers has also positively influenced Levi’s stock prices.

 

“This isn’t merely an increase in foot traffic but a cultural shift, highlighting the impactful relationship between celebrity influence and retail dynamics,” stated James Ewen, vice president of marketing at pass_by.

 

“This surge not only showcases Beyoncé’s star power but also reveals a subtle layer of consumer behavior—where music, fashion, and legendary personalities can invigorate traditional retail formats, creating connections that go beyond online shopping conveniences.”

Earlier this year, there were speculations that Beyoncé might be filming an advertisement for Levi’s, but this has not yet been officially confirmed. However, fans won’t have to wait long to discover what surprises the megastar is planning.
