Move over Bama Rush! Meet Norah, the 3-year-old star of ‘Toddler Rush’ who brings together adorableness and fashion

A young girl from Tennessee has captured hearts on TikTok by launching her own version of rush week.

Three-year-old Norah Ramsey, already recognized as a “kidfluencer,” made her TikTok debut right after she was born.

“When I first brought her home, I created simple ‘life university’ videos, similar in content, even though she wasn’t able to speak at the time,” said her mother, Cheyenne Ramsey. “In those videos, I explained what she was wearing, the books we were reading, and what her daily activities involved.”

Cheyenne shared with YSL News that the concept of “Toddler Rush” was inspired by the wave of potential sorority recruits at the University of Alabama participating in Bama Rush Week, an event that gained massive traction on TikTok since its inception in 2021.

As Norah grew, so did her fashion sense, with adorable dresses, matching shoes, stylish bows, and bags becoming a staple in her wardrobe. When this year’s Bama Rush approached, her mother had a brilliant idea.

“I introduced her to Kylan Darnell, known as the Alabama Rush Queen,” Cheyenne recalled. “I showed her a few of Kylan’s videos and suggested, ‘You can do exactly what she does!’”

Thus, Norah and her mother began their “Toddler Rush” project, which quickly turned into a delightful activity for the two. After their first set of videos attracted 50,000 followers, Cheyenne realized this trend was not going anywhere.

‘Toddler Rush’ catches the eye of Bama Rush

In one of her latest TikTok clips, Norah can be seen coordinating outfits with May, another TikTok personality who joined Bama Rush this year, often referred to online as “Season 4.”

While she struck a pose in a similar outfit to May, Norah also mirrored her spirited enthusiasm, delightfully showering her with compliments during their duet.

“You look so pretty!” Norah exclaimed. “I hope you have the best time, May!”

Additionally, other participants from Bama Rush, like May, showered Norah with cute messages online, Cheyenne shared.

“Brooke even requested her mailing address and plans to send a little bid day card to congratulate her, just to add to the fun,” Cheyenne said. “We also received a package from one of the sororities in Alabama, Alpha Delta Pi, sending her a care package.”

Inside the package, Norah found a stuffed toy, a backpack, stickers, a hat, a note, and a shirt along with a bracelet from enewton, a brand that gained popularity through Bama Rush.

Giving back is part of rush week and ‘Toddler Rush’

“Toddler Rush” has attracted a diverse audience on social media. According to Cheyenne, not only have adults begun following Norah, but so have their children, drawn in by her engaging content. This inspired Cheyenne to create material that would resonate with younger viewers around Norah’s age.

“While she can’t read yet, her vocabulary is impressive for a toddler,” Cheyenne noted. “We plan to share some videos of her reading to help spark interest among other kids.”

Additionally, Norah contributed to a charitable initiative benefiting Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library.

“When a child is born, hospitals provide a form to enroll in the Imagination Library, which sends a book monthly from birth until they start kindergarten,” Cheyenne explained. “That’s the project we chose for Norah’s charitable work.”

Norah participated in a Kendra Scott sale, where 20% of the proceeds went to Dolly Parton’s organization, Cheyenne shared.

What lies ahead for the “kidfluencer”?

Though “Toddler Rush” has concluded, Norah’s journey as a “kidfluencer” is just beginning. With her exceptional on-camera presence, Cheyenne hopes she will have the chance to explore other platforms.

“I can easily envision her landing some brand partnerships,” Cheyenne said. “She follows instructions well and communicates effectively, so perhaps she could even have a role in a commercial or TV show. It’s rare to find a 3-year-old who can converse as well as she does.”

Cheyenne humorously noted that since both she and her husband work in healthcare, they’re unsure how Norah developed her passion for being in front of the camera.

“She feels very at ease on camera, and she enjoys having her photo taken,” Cheyenne added.

“She really seems to be a natural, which is surprising since I struggle with severe stage fright, and I believe her dad does too.”

The Ramsey family is having a great time dressing up and creating fun TikTok videos. Still, they want Norah to truly relish her childhood.

“I want her to experience being a kid. Right now, she enjoys it and thinks it’s like playtime,” Ramsey mentioned. “If it ever stops being enjoyable, we won’t continue with it.”
