Travis Kelce’s debut in television is anything but dull.

Recent behind-the-scenes images of the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, who is stepping into a significant acting role in Ryan Murphy’s horror series “Grotesquerie,” have surfaced.

The specifics of Kelce’s character have been kept under wraps in promotional content. This marks a significant entry into Hollywood for the NFL player, whose only previous acting roles included hosting “Saturday Night Live” and a minor appearance as himself in the Showtime series “Moonbase 8,” where he was eliminated just 12 minutes into the debut episode.

In one picture, Kelce is seen wearing a short-sleeved white shirt paired with similar pants, approaching his co-star Niecy Nash during a scene.

Another shot shows a close-up of Kelce’s character conversing with Nash on a bench. The football star beams during their interaction, a gold ring shimmering on his finger.

Kelce’s debut episode in “Grotesquerie” is scheduled to premiere on Wednesday evening on FX (10 PM EDT/PDT).

The limited series spans 10 episodes and follows Detective Lois Tryon (played by Nash) as she investigates a string of crimes that leave her tormented by their nature. When she struggles to find any leads, she teams up with Sister Megan (Micaela Diamond), a nun who also works as a reporter, to track down the perpetrator.

Travis Kelce’s acting abilities praised by his mother and Niecy Nash

Donna Kelce, who attended the “Grotesquerie” premiere last week, shared with YSL News her thoughts on why her son is suited for an acting career.

“He’s very much like a chameleon,” she remarked. “He can connect with people from all walks of life and adapt. He’s always had that ability, and I believe he can draw from all the diverse people he has encountered.”

Nash, also present at the event, recounted the buzz when the “incredible” Kelce entered the set.

“The guys were absolutely fangirling. The women were puzzled by the excitement,” Nash shared, highlighting that for the men, “it was an instant bromance the moment he arrived.”

“He’s genuinely a wonderful person, and I think audiences will be pleasantly surprised by his performance,” she concluded.
