Innovative Approach: Utilizing Woodchips and Biochar for Pharmaceutical and Nutrient Water Purification

In a new study, researchers show how a simple system using woodchips and a bit of glorified sawdust --- designer biochar --- can dramatically reduce nitrogen, phosphorus, and multiple common drugs in wastewater. Trump’s Visit to McDonald’s Sparks Social Media Buzz: Check Out Photos, Videos, and Reactions

Former President Donald Trump’s recent stop at a McDonald’s in Pennsylvania has caught the attention of social media as he seeks to connect with swing state voters with the election just weeks away.

His visit to the Bucks County restaurant, located near Philadelphia, was partially a response to Vice President Kamala Harris’s claims about her working-class background, as she mentioned her job at McDonald’s in the 1980s while attending college. Trump disputed her account, suggesting he would be willing to learn how to “work the fries” there.

“I’m on the hunt for a job, and working at McDonald’s has always intrigued me,” Trump stated in a video shared on X. “I’m up against someone who claims she worked there, but it turns out her story is completely fabricated.”

As previously reported by YSL News, there has been no proof that McDonald’s has denied Harris’s employment there.

In the video, Trump is seen at the drive-thru, giving out bags and greeting the crowd, stating that he’s “really enjoying this.” A report from the Washington Post noted that the restaurant was closed during his appearance, and those allowed in by the Secret Service did not place any orders but simply received items directly from Trump.

The hosts of “Fox & Friends” praised Trump’s visit on their show Monday morning.

He enjoys working in sales and keeping himself active; so when he takes on a shift at McDonald’s, he’s always on the move. He loves the fast-paced environment. “I wouldn’t be surprised if he takes on extra shifts,” said host Brian Kilmeade.

On social media, supporters of the former president praised his campaign appearance as a way to connect with the working class, while others deemed it as “contrived.”

Donald Trump Jr., the former president’s son, celebrated the visit on X by sharing a modified version of the McDonald’s logo.

This event earned Trump a spot on the front page of the New York Post, which boldly declared “Hail to the Chef!” in large letters.

U.S. Representative Brendan Boyle (D-PA) was among the critics, claiming the visit was entirely “orchestrated.”

Trump’s appearance follows former President Bill Clinton, who was seen at a McDonald’s in Georgia just last weekend.
