The Century of Celestial Superflares: A Phenomenon Worth Watching

Stars similar to the Sun produce a gigantic outburst of radiation on average about once every hundred years per star. Such superflares release more energy than a trillion hydrogen bombs and make all previously recorded solar flares pale in comparison. This estimate is based on an inventory of 56450 sun-like stars. Tyreek Hill Takes Shot at Noah Lyles, Claims He Could Outrun Olympian

Tyreek Hill, a wide receiver for the Miami Dolphins, is known as one of the fastest players in the NFL, and he believes he could beat the world’s fastest man in a race.

Noah Lyles from Team USA won the 100 meters final at the Paris Olympics, clocking in at 9.79 seconds, which was just 0.21 seconds shy of Usain Bolt’s world record. Nonetheless, Hill is the latest athlete to call out the Olympic champ after Lyles made headlines with his remarks on American sporting events.

“I might not win by a huge margin, but I believe I would beat Noah Lyles,” Hill said during an appearance on the Up & Adams show with Kay Adams.

Lyles has been vocal about expanding the popularity of track and field and previously criticized North American pro sports leagues for labeling their champions as world champions.

“What hurts me is when I see the NBA Finals and they are crowned ‘world champions,'” Lyles expressed during the 2023 Track and Field World Championships in Budapest. “World champion of what? Just the United States?”

“For him to say we’re not world champions in our sport? Come on, man, stick to what you know, which is track,” Hill remarked.

Hill also claimed that “Noah Lyles has no credibility after what happened to him,” suggesting that Lyles pretended to be unwell after finishing third in the 200 meters.

Lyles did not meet his goal of winning both sprint events at the Paris Olympics; he ended up taking home a bronze in the 200 meters but collapsed afterward and had to be taken off the track in a wheelchair. It was later disclosed that he competed in the 200 meters after testing positive for COVID-19.
