A traveler throwing a computer monitor at Frontier employees in Chicago
A 31-year-old woman lost her temper at Chicago O’Hare International Airport last month, arguing and tossing items at Frontier Airlines staff after missing her flight
A traveler recently had a meltdown with Frontier Airlines staff in Chicago, throwing a computer monitor during a heated interaction that was recorded on video.
The incident involved a 31-year-old woman and took place at Frontier’s ticket counter at O’Hare International Airport on July 30. The footage shows her going behind the ticket desk, confronting employees and ultimately throwing a computer monitor.
Cindy Halasova, a TikTok user, captured the incident on video, noting that the woman was upset about missing her flight due to being late. The video, which was initially shared on TikTok, was taken down for depicting “violent and graphic content.”
Since then, the video has circulated on social media, appearing on X on August 4, where it gained 50,000 views and attracted numerous shocked and dismayed comments.
“Well! That will surely get her and her family on the no-fly list . What is wrong with people?” remarked one user.
Frontier Airlines has chosen not to comment on the incident, directing all inquiries to the Chicago police.
A man wearing a green shirt intervened, pushing the woman away to create space between her and the Frontier employees before the situation escalated further.
Eventually, she jumped back over the baggage conveyor belt but kept approaching the employees.
