Attention all ‘kidults’: Wendy’s introduces Boo! Bags, meant for everyone
This Halloween season, Wendy’s is catering to kids and the young at heart, or as they like to call them, “kidults”.
In September, Wendy’s launched their Frosty Frights Kids Meals, which included a special toy. However, they decided it wasn’t fair for only the little ones to get Halloween goodies, so they introduced the Boo! Bags on Monday.
These festive bundles contain a meal size fit for adults, and come with collectible figurines alongside a special Boo! coupon book. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to a charity that helps children find adoptive families.
The Boo! Bags are a limited-time offering. Here’s everything you need to know about them.
What does a Wendy’s Boo! Bag contain?
The Boo! Bags include a Dave’s Single burger, small fry, small Frosty, a glow-in-the-dark Bone Chiller Frosty figure, and a Boo! Book.
The Boo! Book is packed with coupons for five free Jr. Frosty treats, plus an additional coupon for a $1.99 kids’ meal with any purchase. For each Boo! Book sold, either as part of a Boo! Bag or separately, Wendy’s will contribute $0.90 to The Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption.
What’s included in a Frosty Frights Kids’ Meal?
Wendy’s also rolled out another Halloween item on September 3: the Frosty Frights Kids Meals. Each kids’ meal, which includes four chicken nuggets or a hamburger/cheeseburger with a junior fry or apple bites and a drink, comes with a toy themed around the Frosty treat.
There are a total of 11 collectible figurines, featuring characters like Franken Frosty, Frosty Bite, Coolie Ghoulie, Brrr Beast, and Cold Spell. Boo! Books can be purchased separately for $1.
How can you get a Wendy’s Boo! Bag?
The Boo! Bags have been available nationwide since Monday, October 21.
Boo! Books are for sale now through November 3 at participating Wendy’s locations in the U.S., with the coupons valid until December 31, 2024.
To get your spooky meal, head to your nearest Wendy’s. If you’d like to buy a Boo! Book separately, you can do so via the mobile app or at Wendy’s self-order kiosks in the “Give Something Back” section. Additionally, customers can add any size soft drink to their Boo! Bag for just $1 for a limited time.
More Halloween-themed offerings from fast-food chains
Wendy’s is joining other fast-food chains like McDonald’s, which brought back its popular Boo Buckets on October 15, and Dunkin’, offering a Halloween-themed Munchkins Bucket that can hold a mix of 50 Munchkins Donut Hole Treats.
