Opinion: Recent court documents related to Jan. 6 shouldn’t alarm voters. Trump wouldn’t repeat his past actions!
If you need assurance that President Trump and his running mate respect the outcome of November’s election, simply observe how calmly they accepted the results of the previous presidential election.
Hello voters who seek information beyond Fox News:
We at the Donald Trump presidential campaign understand that some of you might have come across a new court filing from federal DEEP STATE prosecutors concerning the Jan. 6 investigation, which incorrectly claims that your beloved president attempted to reverse the results of the 2020 election.
We want to assure you, directly from the trustworthy voice of President Trump, that the claims in this extensive 165-page document are COMPLETELY UNTRUE. The so-called substantial evidence presented is not worth your attention or time. Even if it were accurate – which it ABSOLUTELY IS NOT – we at the Trump campaign assure you we would never attempt anything like that again.
Donald Trump would not attempt to overturn another election – we guarantee it
Does the filing from special counsel Jack Smith claim that President Trump engaged in “various criminal actions to disrupt the process of collecting and counting votes”? Yes, it does. But you’ve got to understand – those are lies. The president might have used, at most, one questionable tactic – and overall, this is ELECTION INTERFERENCE.
When did legal proceedings start progressing in a way that could hinder someone’s chances of winning the presidency while simultaneously dismissing the case? That just sounds un-American.
Recent court filing sheds light on alleged plot to reject election results
Does this document outline the details of this supposed plot to take over the government? If you want to consider it that way, perhaps:
“When the defendant lost the 2020 presidential election, he resorted to wrongdoing to remain in power. Together with private accomplices, the defendant initiated several increasingly desperate attempts to reverse the legitimate election outcomes in seven states that he lost—Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, New Mexico, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin (the ‘targeted states’). His efforts included deceiving state officials to persuade them to disregard the real vote counts, creating false electoral votes in these states, attempting to recruit Vice President Michael R. Pence, as President of the Senate, to hinder Congress’s certification of the election by employing these fraudulent votes; and ultimately, on January 6, 2021, inciting a furious crowd of supporters to invade the United States Capitol to disrupt the congressional certification.”
But you know what those are? Just a jumble of words arranged in a way that the liberals want you to believe are “sentences.” Are you really going to trust these so-called sentences for accurate information? Absolutely not.
Those could just be sentences that Democrats are allowing into the country to hijack your lifestyle.
Did Trump’s supporters consider harming Mike Pence? Who can say for sure?
The document quotes President Trump as saying: “So what?”
First and foremost … ABSOLUTE FABRICATIONS. However, even if we entertain the idea that President Trump showed indifference towards the safety of the cowardly Mike Pence, you, the voter, should not be concerned.
The only individual who should feel uneasy is current Republican vice presidential hopeful JD Vance. (Fear not, JD, President Trump would NEVER treat you like that, provided you comply fully with his wishes. By the way, what’s your noose size?)
Trump is reiterating the same messages as before the last election
This potentially unconstitutional court filing suggests that prior to Election Day in 2020, President Trump informed advisers he intended to “declare victory before all the ballots were counted and any winner was declared.”
The misleading document continues: “Publicly, the defendant began to sow the groundwork for this false proclamation. In the lead-up to the election, he declined to commit to accepting the election results, claimed that any potential loss would only be due to fraud, made inaccurate assertions about the fraudulent nature of mail-in ballots, and insisted that only ballots counted by Election Day should be considered valid.”
This is utter nonsense, and it is quite remarkable that as a candidate for reelection, President Trump is making similar claims in the months leading up to this year’s election. It’s an odd coincidence, but you shouldn’t regard it as suspicious.
Just take a deep breath. There’s no need for panic.
It’s not as if Trump and Vance refute the 2020 election results
For evidence that President Trump and his running mate will accept the outcome of November’s election, just listen to their reaction to the results of the previous presidential election.
During the recent vice presidential debate, when Sen. JD Vance, R-Ohio, was questioned by Democratic Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz – LOSER! – about whether Trump lost the 2020 election, Vance responded: “Tim, I’m focused on the future.”
When asked by comedian Jason Selvig on Thursday if Trump won the 2020 election, Vance readily said: “Yes.” And upon repeated questioning, he affirmed: “Yep.”
President Trump, during his own debate against Vice President Kamala Harris, was asked: “Are you now acknowledging that you lost in 2020?”
“No, I don’t acknowledge that at all,” he responded.
This clearly demonstrates that both individuals at the forefront of the GOP ticket have vigorously accepted the outcome of the 2020 presidential election, and what they accept is that President Trump emerged victorious.
Count on us, America. Everything will be fine as long as Trump wins
In light of such unprecedented honesty and grounded reasoning, it’s puzzling how anyone could look at Lyin’ Jack Smith’s court filing regarding January 6 – filled with its questionable evidence and numerous witnesses ready to testify – and think that the Trump campaign would ever act dishonestly.
It makes absolutely no sense. And it makes even less sense if you choose not to read the document, which we at the Trump campaign strongly advise against. Instead, we suggest you check out our online Trump merchandise store. Perhaps you would like to purchase a watch or a hat.
Just please avoid reading that document.
Let’s make America great again!
