Don’t forget: Beyoncé has something up her sleeve for Tuesday
Beyoncé fans are buzzing with excitement as Tuesday marks the day they’ve been waiting for since the superstar brought the house down during the Baltimore vs. Houston NFL game on Christmas Day.
Tuesday marks Jan. 14, which is no ordinary day for Beyoncé fans thanks to a social media post from the megastar, who loves to keep the Beyhive on their toes.
As fans know, the Grammy-winning singer took the stage during halftime as the Houston Texans faced the Baltimore Ravens on Dec. 25 at NRG Stadium in her hometown of Houston. The 12-minute show, which is now streaming as a stand-alone special on Netflix, marked the first time she performed songs live from her eighth studio album, “Cowboy Carter.”
Of course, Beyoncé first announced the album during a surprise Super Bowl commercial in February when she released singles “16 Carriages” and “Texas Hold ‘Em.” The 27-track project has been a huge catalyst for the recent spotlight on Black country artists and the genre’s roots.
And just as fans began to recover from the jaw-dropping halftime show on Christmas Day, dubbed the “Beyoncé Bowl,” the singer posted Tuesday’s date in a cryptic Instagram post. In the caption she simply wrote, “Look at that horse.”
Beyoncé then went radio silent as the internet went into a frenzy.
As the countdown began leading up to Jan. 14, fans all over speculated about what might be in the works.
A number of theories have been circulating, including a tour announcement for her latest album, the third part of her trilogy of albums or accompanying visuals for any of her recent projects.
Could it be an ‘Act 3’ album?
In July 2022, Beyoncé released her seventh studio album “Renaissance.” The project earned her four Grammys in 2023 including best dance/electronic music album, making her the most decorated artist in the awards’ history. She later announced the album was the first part of a three-act project, making “Cowboy Carter” Act 2. It’s only a matter of time, and tomorrow could be the day fans get to hear her new music.
Another tour is possible
As far as a tour announcement, fans have been yearning to see Queen Bey hit the stage again. When she first announced her halftime gig, fans instantly drove up game-day ticket sales and “A Cowboy Carter Christmas” became the buzz word. Now fans are hoping she might hit the road again for a world tour.
Anything goes
She could also release long-awaited visuals for her recent projects, announce a residency for her eighth studio album or put her 2023 “Renaissance” movie on streaming, which fans have also been anticipating.
There is reason to believe any of these announcements could be true, if not a combination of them all.
And fans will find out tomorrow. Happy Jan. 14 eve!
