It seems Hailee Steinfeld and Josh Allen have made a significant advancement in their mostly low-key relationship.

The couple shared a joint Instagram post on Friday where Allen is seen getting down on one knee in front of an impressive floral display. Steinfeld is leaning in, touching her forehead to his, with candles surrounding them and the ocean in view.

While they didn’t clearly announce an engagement, the photo was captioned with a cryptic “♾️ 11•22•24 ♾️.”

27-year-old Steinfeld, an Oscar nominee, and 28-year-old Allen, the quarterback for the Buffalo Bills, had kept their relationship relatively private, only going public in July after over a year of dating rumors.

Speculations about their romance started last spring, with one of their first public appearances together spotted in May 2023 during a night out in New York City. In one of the pictures, Allen had his arm affectionately around the “Hawkeye” actress.

On July 23, just before the 2024 Paris Olympics, Allen hinted at their relationship in an Instagram post, featuring a photo of him and Steinfeld gazing toward the Eiffel Tower.

Before they officially announced their relationship, YSL News asked Steinfeld her thoughts on the Buffalo Bills prior to their AFC East title win.

During a red carpet interview at the Golden Globes on January 7, she humorously expressed her optimism about the team’s performance that night but noted that YSL News’s Ralphie Aversa was displaying a Stefon Diggs jersey with the “wrong number.”
