Joe Exotic from ‘Tiger King’ is engaged once more: ‘Introducing Jorge Marquez’
“Joe Exotic,” the well-known figure from the hit Netflix series “Tiger King,” recently shared the news of his engagement to Jorge Marquez.
This week on social media, he is once again in the spotlight.
The 61-year-old reality TV star, known as Joseph Maldonado-Passage, is currently serving a 21-year sentence in a federal prison in Texas following his conviction in a murder-for-hire plot against rival zoo owner Carole Baskin.
A recent post on his X page introduced Jorge Marquez, a 33-year-old from Mexico who is described as amazing.
Maldonado-Passage also mentioned that he plans to marry while incarcerated and aims to assist Marquez in obtaining asylum.
“If we both get out, we might leave America,” said the convicted felon. “Regardless, I wish I had met him much earlier.”
